✨ The Sleeping Rabbit Wand 🐰

We thought we should start showing off some of the lovely wands that we have been bringing to markets and are up on our Etsy! ❤️
Magickally crafted by Honey the Hedge Witch in Scotland.

Rabbits are often seen as messages of the Fae or the underworld, in addition a lot of folklore say witches would turn into rabbits or hares at night. The sleeping rabbit wand is a perfect companion for the darker half of the year. 🌙

It excels in dream work with it's lunar symbolism, the rabbit jaws on the base give connection to the spirit world. The citrine crystal tip is amazing for creativity which aids in dream work and also spell work in the darker half of the year.

The wand has been made from foraged birch wood in East Lothian, carved with intention, illustrated on, and crystals embedded.

That's the first market ever done for ! 💯

It's official, Selkie & Hare will be running a stall at on the 17th March in Edinburgh! 🪄🧙🧹

We are so excited to take part in our first ever market as we have been working behind the scenes to get our little business up and running. ❤️

At our stall you will find some goodies we will be selling starting with our signature wands, some beautiful altar shells, spell pouches, and brand new off the press our Ostara Afternoon Tea Mini Guide! 📖🐣🐰

Happy Beltainn!✨🔥 We hope you all have had a chance to celebrate. In we have a huge celebration and bonfire the night on the eve, though like us you can choose to have a more intimate bonfire, campfire, picnic or chilling in the house experience. Here is a cinnamon toffee cake that we used for bonnach brea-tine, in which we put a piece of charcoal in the cake. Traditionally the person that had the piece with charcoal would be the ‘sacrifice’ and would either have to hop over the fires or another thing could be that they were pelted with eggs! 🍳 instead we had the charcoal finder ‘unlucky’ and dosed them with blessed water. We hope you have a lovely time today!
