Excuse us, Reno, but we need to ask your attention for something a little more important than usual, please.
Our friends in the local band We Predict A Riot have been a go-to band for us to have open for our high profile headliners. Their commitment to high level professionalism, understanding of both the business AND the art of music, and ability to show up as their authentic selves are the key ingredients for being the cream that rises to the top! Their fans will no doubt let you hear on this thread, what a fun night of rock and roll a WPAR show is.
With that said, our friends in We Predict a Riot have suffered a major blow. Drummer Eric Albright has been diagnosed with a very serious cancer. The situation is not hopeless, but it feels helpless when things hit so suddenly and it is serious enough that we're asking on his behalf for the greater community of Reno to help out. Regardless of if you are in the local music scene or aren't familiar with the band (and their stellar image and ethic) or whatever, please take a minute to like, share and donate. This is a good cause to help a neighbor in need.

Hey guys we wanted to give you a quick update on the band and more specifically Eric. A few weeks ago Eric's left arm went completely numb resulting him into going to the hospital. After being admitted he learned he had masses in his brain which ended up being cancer. He begins treatment for this Wednesday and has a long road to recovery following but has a solid plan in place with a solid support group. However this is going to put a financial burden on himself and family. We've started a Go Fund Me to help with the day to day bills in hopes that he can just focus on his recovery. In the meantime as a band we will be focusing on recording some new music for you guys but if you are in a place to help Eric out it would be greatly appreciated.
