Rock Off Main rock music program is an all-ages show that provides a venue for local bands (middle, high school, college, just out of college) to take their eclectic mix of music out of their basements and put it on stage where it belongs, performing for their peers. Shaking the old firehouse for the past 20 years, Rock Off Main features the best pop, emo, punk, ska, hardcore, and indie bands in the Boston area.

This cover of Mary Jane's Last Dance that Rising Nation did special for me, is even more special to me now with the devastating loss of Tom Petty. If you don't know his music I hope you will, and if you do know his music I hope that you will let it stay with you forever.

Annabel and Benjamin Hodson-Walker wanted to do something special for Diane Young at the 20th Anniversary of Rock off Main at TCAN. After running into Diane at the Tom Petty concert this summer in Boston and learning that it was her 7th time seeing Tom Petty, they decided to pay tribute to Diane by singing a Tom Petty song - Mary Jane's Last Dance. TCAN is one of the best venues in MA, featuring movie screenings, plays, large scale concerts, and of course, local music showcases. Because of this, we're so excited and honored to be apart of their 20th anniversary party. Come down for this. It's free, and there's a bunch of kickass bands playing as well! It's Sunday the 24th, from noon to 4 PM.

Speaking of upcoming shows, we're also going to be back at the Banner on Friday September 9, from 8 PM to midnight. We're also playing Dedham's Run for the Fallen at Memorial Field on the 16th (times TBA).
