The Thankful Grazer 🦃🍂

With spooky season behind us, and the season of giving upon us...we believe in giving back to those who gave to us.

Most of you know of our beautiful Mateo's accident that occurred in 2020,
When he pulled a tiny pot of water down from my stove...it left a huge imprint on our lives.
Leaving him with 20% of his body severely burned. Still to this day, Mateo is undergoing laser treatments for his keloid on his chest & and chin and still suffers from discomfort from his burns.
But, thankfully, with the incredible help from the Burn Center & the amazing staff, specifically his surgeon Dr Sandoval, his recovery has been astounding.
With that said, those days on the burn unit were long and hard.
But, the small moments of peace and happiness included trips to the Toy Closet.
A special little place on the secure unit that provides brand new toys for all the pediatric patients. Those minutes of joy seen on your kids face when, they are in so much pain, skimming the shelves of the closet is also a moment of happiness for any parent to see their kid smile with a new toy in hand.
Over the last few years, we have been able to donate so many toys that the overflow is brought to the pediatric unit in the hospital!
This year, I'd like to bring even more!
The unit can have anyone from newborns to teenagers who would love to open a gift during a hard day of treatment.
So, any new unwrapped gifts from kids from 0-16 that they can play with in their rooms.
If you would like to donate, please reach out, and I will be happy to coordinate a pick-up or delivery day with anyone! Last year, many people sent toys directly to my house through Amazon and other delivery services. If you would like my address please dm me.
We like to get the toys their before the week of Christmas, so please have any donations to me by Dec 17th
