Jessica's Photography I am a professional photographer in Utah. I specialize in Wedding, Family, Senior Class, & Children I’ve had a passion for photography since I was a little girl.

I also do Fine Art photos for décor, food photography and wedding albums. I can work in Logan, Ogden, Bountiful, Salt Lake City, Provo and everywhere in between. Everywhere I look, I imagine the scene as a photo; I am constantly thinking of what I can do next with photography. I can honestly say that I have the best job; I love what I do! I have been a professional photographer for over eight year

s. I love to work with people, and because I am very easy going, my photo shoots have a fun, relaxed atmosphere. My photos have a unique look derived from incorporating different angles and original poses. I am open to new ideas and try to adapt my style to each individual.A little about me, besides being a photographer. I graduated from Utah State University in 2007 with a degree in History and a minor in Photography. When I am not taking photos I love to travel, quilt, cook, family history and read. I love kids of all ages, little kids are one of my favorite to take photos of. I love to be outside; hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and cross country skiing. I enjoy being able to take my camera and just enjoy shooting on my own time. Photography is my job, but also my hobby. I love life and I am so grateful for the wonderful opportunities I have been given. P: 435-757-4260

Last call to join us in Portugal, August 7–11.

This is your final chance to be part of a creative women’s retreat in the heart of Lisbon—a few slow days filled with inspiration, connection, and beauty. Picture yourself walking cobblestone streets, surrounded by sun-washed tiles, with your camera in hand or your sketchbook open to whatever the city stirs in you.

This retreat was made for artists, storytellers, and women who feel the pull to create—whether you’re returning to your craft or discovering something new.

If this speaks to you, we’d love to hold space for you.
The last seat is waiting. Link in bio.

This year has been full of new adventures—international retreats, launching a new course, and even dipping my toes into flower farming. Some have been successful, while others are still unfolding. But as Winston Churchill said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”

No matter how these new ventures shake out, I’m proud to have followed my curiosity and taken the leap. What’s meant to be will find its way.

The idea for my new course was sparked by conversations with creative entrepreneurs who felt overwhelmed by the pressure to keep up with social media—often without seeing real results. I wanted to create something that would help. I do use social media in my business and it has its place, but I don’t rely on it for everything. There are sustainable, more aligned ways to attract inquiries—ones that don’t require dancing or lip-syncing to trends!

This course is designed to give you a fresh approach to marketing—one that actually feels good and gets results.

A huge thank you to my friend who helped me edit my thoughts to make sense!

Posting multiple times a day for two weeks to promote my launch of my new course is exhausting! 🤣

On the bright side, maybe I’ll finally catch up on sharing all the beautiful summer sessions from last year!

Loved combining senior and family photos for this gorgeous family in Park City—such a special session!

I love sharing photos and videos on Instagram when I feel like it—but I’m definitely not consistent. Sometimes months go by without a single post. I enjoy connecting, but I’m not someone who wants to be front and center all the time. The idea of constantly filming myself or trying to keep up with trends, dances, or voiceovers? Honestly, that sounds exhausting.

If you feel the same way, my new course was made for you. There are other ways to grow your business—ways that are more sustainable, less time-consuming, and way less stressful.

The course opens Friday! Sign up for my newsletter and you’ll get an exclusive discount when it launches. You won’t want to miss it!

I was talking with a photographer friend the other day who mentioned she might need to go back to a 9-5. She’s incredibly talented, and it broke my heart—because the world needs her gift.

I wanted to share everything I’ve learned with her, to show her that it is possible:
To provide for your family.
To be home with your little ones.
To earn a full-time income in part-time hours.

I know it’s possible for you too. That’s exactly why I created this course—to take the guesswork out of where to spend your time marketing, so you can build a sustainable business that works for your life.

Enrollment opens Friday!

Hi! I’m Jessica—photographer of over 20 years and mama for the past 4! Life and business have shifted a lot since becoming a mom. These days, my time is spent chasing after my two boys, finding rocks to toss into rivers and lakes, baking with Jackson, and driving toy trucks all over the house. We love adventuring in the mountains, riding the tractor on our property, and soaking up time without my phone always out.

Let’s be honest—most of my day revolves around convincing little people to eat, nap, or go to bed. And as an entrepreneur, that means I have to be really intentional with the time I get to work. When I sit down to market my business, it has to count—and it has to work.

That’s exactly what I’m teaching in my new course launching this Friday: how to fill your inbox with inquiries and how to manage your social media usage without it taking over your life.

If you’re short on time and need to make a big impact in your business, this is for you. Share it with a friend who needs it too—and I can’t wait to help you reach your booking potential!

I ran my business for over 15 years before having kids. Back then, I could work whenever I wanted. But motherhood changed everything. Like so many mom entrepreneurs, I’ve had to get really intentional about how and when I work—my time is limited, so I have to make it count.

Last year, I tracked every inquiry I received over the course of a few months. In one month I received 80 total inquiries: 50 came from Google searches, 25 from social media, and 5 from referrals. That means nearly 70% of my leads came from sources outside of social media.

That one insight showed me exactly where I needed to focus my marketing—and spoiler alert, it wasn’t on learning the latest dance or lip-sync trend for a reel. ☺️

In my new course, I’ll show you how to increase your inquiries in ways that don’t rely on social media—and that don’t burn you out. I can’t wait to release it next week!

I’ve been in business long enough to remember marketing before social media—can you imagine? It was simpler in some ways! I advertised in the phone book (this one dates me😂), university magazines, bridal shows, and even made an appearance on Good Things Utah.

When social media came along, it changed everything. At first, it made marketing easier—but over time, I’ve seen how it’s become a burden for many creative entrepreneurs.

Despite marketing challenges and learning curves, I’ve spent 20 years with a full calendar—and most of my bookings don’t come from social media.

That’s why I’m so excited to launch my new course next week: Creating a Better Business Relationship with Social Media. I will teach you the importance of diversifying your inquiries to avoid burnout, which I believe is caused by the pressures of posting on social media. I’ve been working on it for months, and I can’t wait to share how I provide for my family with my business.
