Jessica's Photography I am a professional photographer in Utah. I specialize in Wedding, Family, Senior Class, & Children I’ve had a passion for photography since I was a little girl.

I also do Fine Art photos for décor, food photography and wedding albums. I can work in Logan, Ogden, Bountiful, Salt Lake City, Provo and everywhere in between. Everywhere I look, I imagine the scene as a photo; I am constantly thinking of what I can do next with photography. I can honestly say that I have the best job; I love what I do! I have been a professional photographer for over eight year

s. I love to work with people, and because I am very easy going, my photo shoots have a fun, relaxed atmosphere. My photos have a unique look derived from incorporating different angles and original poses. I am open to new ideas and try to adapt my style to each individual.A little about me, besides being a photographer. I graduated from Utah State University in 2007 with a degree in History and a minor in Photography. When I am not taking photos I love to travel, quilt, cook, family history and read. I love kids of all ages, little kids are one of my favorite to take photos of. I love to be outside; hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and cross country skiing. I enjoy being able to take my camera and just enjoy shooting on my own time. Photography is my job, but also my hobby. I love life and I am so grateful for the wonderful opportunities I have been given. P: 435-757-4260

I don’t know how I’ll survive this trip without these cuties! We debated bringing everyone, but ultimately decided Oliver’s too busy and, well, screams a little too much! After almost four years of packing for more than just me—stuffing in diapers, clothes, and car seats—closing my suitcase this morning felt strange. There was actually room! My first thought was, “What am I missing??”

Now I’m torn—should I sleep the whole trip to catch up, or go full-on pre-kid travel mode and pack my days to the brim?

Do you want to see little highlights each day or the whole adventure? 😃

Every year, I get so excited to photograph Lexie and her family! Even though her boys tell me that is their least favorite day of the year!😂She always picks the most beautiful locations, and this time was no different. When she dropped me a pin in the middle of nowhere, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I knew it would be incredible! We explored a new vibe at first, but ultimately stuck with the timeless aesthetic we’ve loved in the past. When it comes to hanging photos in your home, the location truly makes a difference. Be sure to watch my stories to see some of Lexie’s stunning past locations!

When fall arrives, I always find myself wondering—should I catch up and share all the incredible summer sessions, or dive straight into sharing all of my fall sessions! I love photographing so many beautiful clients, and I can’t wait to showcase them all!

This weekend, I had to lower my expectations… and then lower them again, and again! 😂

As I drove home from our workshop on Tuesday, I knew I wanted to soak in as much of fall in the Tetons as possible. It’s so beautiful, but once it arrives, it’s gone before you know it, and I just love it! Cole had planned a hike in the Tetons on Friday with his sister, intending to do it all in one day. But I convinced them to camp, and I tagged along, driving up later in the day.

I felt like I was off to a great start, getting out the door by 8:15 and squeezing in a few photo sessions before heading out of town. We made it to the campground without too much trouble from the boys, set up camp, and had dinner ready in 45 minutes.

That’s when the fun began. My boys are not fans of eating—they have zero interest in food, so mealtime is always a challenge. Look at slide number two to see how that went! That’s when I lowered my first expectation. During the workshop, we photographed the cutest little boys, and I kept imagining my boys in the same spot, throwing rocks into the lake. I dreamed of getting one sweet, hugging photo, like in slide number one, and I even brought cute outfits for us. But after our car dinner, I adjusted my plan: no tripod, no cute clothes—just photos of the boys as they were.

We finally made it to the beach, camera gear, plus a product I needed to photograph for a local company. But within minutes, both boys were soaked up to their knees. Ten minutes in, and Oliver was drenched from head to toe. So, I thought, “Okay, if I can just get a few film shots, that’ll be enough.”

Well, with two energetic boys, I never even unzipped my camera bag. Oliver made friends with the family next to us and even smiled for their photos while they were photographing their kids! He later took off running around the beach with their goggles on—seriously, babies in goggles are the cutest! 😂 (See the last slide!)

After the beach, we returned to camp, snacked on Cheetos in the hammock, watched the stars appear, and made s’mores on the stove. Cole eventually made it back, and we finally got to bed.

Moral of the story: It’s okay to lower your expectations—sometimes, a lot!

I had such a good time in the Tetons that I’m heading back again tomorrow morning! Cole’s been planning a hike up The Grand, and I’m going to join him later with the boys. We’re hoping to squeeze in one more camping adventure before the weather gets too cold!

After organizing a glamping adventure for nine women, setting up camp with a one-year-old and a three-year-old should be a breeze, right?!

Our first Nourished Gatherings retreat was a success! There’s something truly magical about the Grand Tetons, making it the perfect setting for reflection, renewal, and connecting to something greater than ourselves.

When Breanne reached out less than two months ago with her idea, I knew right away I had to be a part of it! In just over a month, we managed to plan this incredible retreat and welcomed photographers from New Jersey, Tennessee, Florida, Idaho, and Utah to join us.

Bringing people together to share good food, immerse in nature, create, and capture moments through photography fills my heart. On the way to the workshop, I had so many thoughts on what I wanted to cover. Yet, by the time I drove home, those ideas had evolved, and I can’t wait to share my insights with you over the next few weeks!

Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter for exclusive updates, takeaways, and details about our next retreat. We’re already dreaming of where to go next—where do you think we should head?

Thank you to all who joined and help make this possible! .photography .photos .katie

Eight years ago, I dreamed of hosting a dinner party at my favorite locatoon, but life had other plans, and we had to move it elsewhere. Every August since, I’ve held onto the hope of making it happen, and tonight, it happenes! Despite the rain threatening to keep us in the valley, our adventurous spirits prevailed, and we took a chance that the skies would clear.

Mountain dinner parties are pure magic and one of my absolute favorite experiences!

I’m so excited for our upcoming workshop in the Tetons, complete with a gourmet Dutch oven dinner in the woods! We still have a few spots left, and I’ve had a lot of questions about whether it’s just for photographers—it’s open to everyone! While we’ll have some photo sessions, the workshop is designed as a creative reset for anyone looking to recharge in nature.
