Life’s been a bit hectic lately, so posting shop updates haven’t taken priority, unfortunately. That said, I wanted to extend a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all my continued supporters!

2023 was quite a busy year for PHProps, with a number of fun milestones. I reached my 3,500th order processed (that’s an average of almost an order a day since I started?!). I reached my 1,500th 5-star review. I also reached Star Seller status for a number of months…which is very difficult for us bespoke makers to attain.

As I enter my 10th year of operating my prop shop (it’s already been a decade?!?), I reflect on all of the amazing people I’ve met through this fun little hobby, all of my friends across the globe that share a love for costuming and prop building.

New custom belt finally completed and shipping out in time for Star Wars Celebration! This is a very cool Jedi Finn concept project from The Rise of Skywalker. Super fun to prototype and build, but it took many months to get here. I’m thankful my client was patient on this journey and very happy with the final piece.

Took a few minutes tonight to finish a long overdue belt prototype that’s been sitting on the bench for quite some time! Dark Rey from The Rise of Skywalker. It’s a weird mix between Kylo Ren’s belt style and Rey’s belt size and has these weird shark gill pleats on either side. Introducing Dark Rey!

I put the finishing touches on a couple personal props for my BTTF collection this week. A replica Marty McFly Eastpak backpack (requiring combining two donor backpacks from that era) as well as finishing up a nice little prop cassette for my vintage Aiwa tape deck like Marty used in the film, complete with a little nod to Mr. Van Halen today. It’s hard to believe it’s already been two years since Eddie left us?!

Latest batch of Obi-Wan Kenobi (Disney+ Series) belts are headed out the door! These are super fun to make and I’m using the amazing real metal hook and ring hardware to give the final piece the most authentic look and feel possible!
