Mental Health Monday

✨ *Raw and uncensored...* ✨

I *have* to show up this way—no makeup, no second-guessing, no "Do I look okay?" checks. 🙅‍♀️ I won’t let fear or doubt creep in. 🚫 There are **BIG THINGS HAPPENING** and **BIG THINGS TO COME**! 💫 *Breathe.* 🌬️ The breath is where I find my courage to show up as ME—in all my glory, just as I am.

Yesterday, we led another **amazing, sold-out class** 🤩, and I’m still reflecting on the honor of guiding people through such **life-changing journeys.** 🌟 Words can’t truly capture how profound these moments are—they’ve shifted my direction, focus, and perspective entirely. 🙏

Today, I’m going back to basics—taking care of my mental health. 🧘‍♀️ Starting with GRATITUDE. 📝 Making a gratitude list is a simple yet powerful way to reclaim my energy and keep fear and doubt in check. It’s wild to think—you can have it all: a great life, a wonderful family, an amazing support system, and a bright future... yet your mind can still try to hijack you with negativity. 🌀 If you’ve ever felt this way, *be gentle with yourself.* 💕 It’s normal. Our minds crave resistance—they want something to figure out.

But not today. 💪 Today, there’s nothing to fix. I’m just going to *breathe* 🌬️ and write down 10 things I’m grateful for. ✍️ It’s been a while since I committed to this practice, but I *know* how well it works. I’m excited for the positive impact it will have on my mental health. 🧠💖

Mental Health Monday 💚

I'm on Day 10 of not smoking! 🥳 That’s the longest streak I’ve had in probably a year. I owe a big part of this to being open and transparent here. 🙌

The accountability I’ve gained from sharing this journey has been so helpful over the past week. 💪 I see accountability as an extra layer of support, and that support has been cheering me on during my weaker moments. 🫶

So, a huge thank you to everyone who has reached out and expressed their encouragement. 🥰 Your words mean more than you know!

Here’s to continuing this journey, one day at a time. 🌟

Mental Health Monday: My Journey to Quit Smoking 🚭

Growing up, smoking was just part of life in my home. I started at the young age of 9 and by 12, it was a steady habit. When I got into my second year of recovery, I finally quit and stayed smoke-free for 8 years. But over the last 8 years, I’ve found myself in a frustrating cycle of smoking, va**ng, quitting, and starting again.

Today, I’m proud to say I’m on Day 3 of being smoke and v**e-free. 🎉 I’m on all the tools I’ve learned over the years—yes, even this “cheater” v**e with the rubber tip that lets me just suck air (fun, right? 🙄).

The crazy part? I didn’t even plan to quit. After an incredible coaching session that ended with a hypnosis experience, I was done. In that moment, I let go of the illusion of comfort smoking had given me for so long. It was such a powerful shift.

This time, I’m not focusing on just the first three days (which I used to believe were the hardest). Now, it’s about staying quit and choosing to show up in the present, cutting ties with the habits and patterns of the past.

Through hypnosis I also released self-judgment and I am using breathwork in the space that has been created to create new neural pathways—one conscious moment at a time. I’m using my breath to move through the sensations and cravings, and I’m choosing to use my time and energy in ways that truly serve me.

I’m not making any promises, but I do know this: breaking patterns, using tools, leaning on supports, and embracing my breath are making a huge positive impact on my mental health today.

So why not share about it? 💙 If you’re on your own journey to quit something—whether it’s smoking or any other habit—just know that you’re not alone. We’re all a work in progress, and every step forward matters.

This isn't our usual branded Mental Health Monday post. This is me leaning into the discomfort of the past week, reflecting, and choosing how to move forward.

Initially, I was going to discuss the mental health benefits of a social media detox, which I experienced last week — not by choice. When Meta had their outage, I wasn’t sure if I had been hacked. It turned out I hadn’t, but I changed my password and logged out of all devices. Little did I know that this would lock me out completely. I couldn’t access Facebook or Messenger, which is my main way of communicating with people. By day two, I was starting to process identity attachments I didn’t even realize I had. I fluctuated between anxiety and acceptance. Ultimately, I was facing a void I wasn’t prepared for.

After four days, I was finally able to access my account — but only on my business laptop and through a different browser. I still haven't been able to access those platforms on my phone. Life definitely feels different. At first, I was concerned about business-related matters. But now, I’m settling into this new way of life and finding it more of a blessing than a hindrance.

This shift has brought me clarity and empowerment. I get to decide what to do with the space that has been created. The social media detox has definitely played a role in my mental health. Choosing to lean into the discomfort instead of filling it with something else has been the true benefit to my mental health this week. Practicing the pause has built resilience over the last few days.
