September is California Wine Month, and we are so excited to finally launch our California Clean Wine Club!
It has been almost a year since we opened our new doors and added our wine bar. The response has been so heartwarming to watch. Customers trying new things and opening their minds to a new world of natural wine brings energy to the cause!

Meet Heather- the WINNER of our month long sandwich challenge! 🏅
Heather is my unofficial daughter in law. She works on Saturdays and fills in whenever there’s a need. When she’s not at Feast & Floral, Heather is busy molding the hearts and minds of little ones in the preschool setting, as well as raising a brand new baby kitten rescued from the bushes!! 😻
The Verde will find a place on our permanent food menu. Come in on a Saturday and say hello to Heather and try her award winning sammie!

We are thrilled to make room on the shelves for both and .of.the.sunshine wines! Grapes grown on Demeter certified biodynamic farms on the central coast, these select few showcase exactly what California Clean means to us. Staff Spotlight Series! 📸
“The OG”
Fresh peach, tomato, mozzarella, arugula, pesto, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze served toasted on Acme herb slab. 🍑
The OG is named after my sister Kim. Back in 2019, Kim helped start Feast & Floral with her little baby in tow. Through those pandemic years, my older children would care for her little one while Kim and I built the business. As her baby grew older and demanded more time from mama, Kim had to take an important step back. While she may no longer be at the forefront of Feast & Floral, she is still an integral part of what we are now, and we are so happy for that. You can see Kim in the evenings making food or pouring wine, and on Saturdays. When she’s not at work, Kim enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with family.
Just like the summer peach, the OG will be leaving soon. Come on in and try it before it’s gone for the year! ☀️

Throwback to the year my friend’s fig tree fell down and I had more figs than I knew what to do with. What an incredible accident that was! Fig season in California is short and sweet and very pricey, but it is so incredibly worth it! I now have my own fig tree accidentally planted by a little birdie. 🕊️

Staff Spotlight series! 📸
“The Captain”
Smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, red onion, and capers on toasted Acme baguette.
The Captain was my contribution to the sandwich challenge. My name is Ashley and I own Feast & Floral and employ my entire family and a couple of very special friends.
I am extremely shy and awkward around a camera which should explain the lack of pictures of me here. However, I do love snapping pics of my creations and adding to this fun feed of beautiful food and wine 😊
In my spare time I love sharing wine with friends, live music, anything near an open body of water, and binging the next best thing on TV.
Fun fact: I don’t eat meat! The smoked salmon sandwich for me please! 😋😋

New wine alert! 🍷
About a year ago my daughter and son in law took me to Sonoma to introduce me to a wine they knew I would love. They know me so well, because I was instantly entranced with these incredible wines! Grown sustainably and organically, these wines fit right in our shelves. I’ve been waiting since that day to get in the shop, they’re finally here! Come on in and try for yourself!
