Dear friends
To my college goer, summer break means evenings of volleyball games with his friends or gym hours with his big brother. And to me it means - where is the protein in this meal 🤔

Found a easy recipe which is quick, easy and has good amount of protein.

We all love " aloo tikki". Here is its little twisted version.
Boil potatoes as you always do. Soak masoor dal ( red lentil) and moong dal ( split yellow lentil) 2:1 for almost 2 hours. Strain all water. Add lentils to blender along with some ginger, garlic, green chilli ( optional). Blend it to smooth paste. Add water only if required.
Mix boiled potatoes, chopped onion, coriander and lentil mix. Add your choice of spices. Add very little oil in pan ( masoor dal makes the mix non sticky). Make small tikkis and cook on both sides. Serve it with your favorite green or red chutneys.

Try it and fulfill your protein intake of a day 💪 and take my word its prep is easier than normal aloo tikkis. Enjoy healthy eating 💝

Healthy sugar free and gluten free Modaks.

This is a delicious and healthy modak made using dates, nuts and coconut. It is a quick modak recipe that you can easily make at Ganesh Chaturthi or any other festival.

Sweets are integral part of any festival & what could be better if we could make them little healthier without compromising on taste.

Mix all ingredients ( pitted dates, nuts and grated coconut) in a blender. With greased hands shape them into modak shapes. And thats it....easy, delicious and healthy modaks are ready.
