That Friday feeling 🙌🏻 It’s been a while since I’ve said hello this way, so I wanted to do a ! My name is .c.watson and I created Camp Crafty in 2019. If you’ve ever wanted to know a little more about me, I’m dropping some fun facts today! 🌞
- I was a college art history and public relations major. After graduation I was an art educator at Dallas Contemporary, then a brand manager and special events director, producing over 250 events a year for our favorite local retailers. When I noticed a lack of crafts at birthday parties for my daughter, I was inspired to bring the professionalism and innovation I wanted from my own vendors as an events specialist to the party space.
- Camp Crafty is an LLC and we carry a $1 million single limit liability insurance policy. We have an attorney drafted liability waiver for every event to ensure and safe and fun environment for everyone. I am CPR and AED certified by the American Heart Association. Our Camp Directors are third party background checked.
- In 2023, I paid over $50,000 in payroll to our team of female Camp Directors. I think they are what really makes every party so special and fun.
- Your children are so special to me and I always want to honor the privacy of your special day, which is why I never photograph or post your children’s faces on our social media.
- We still do backyard birthdays for 10 guests or more every weekend, but we also specialize in corporate contracts and residencies. This year we served 30,000 guests at an event in Vegas! Send me an idea. 😉
- I never use photos from Pinterest or other sources on our social media or website. Everything you see here has already been executed by us and is ready for your next event.
- I love meeting new people through this project and am so appreciative of our return clients. It’s a gift to find new crafts year after year that grow with your children.

It’s time to believe in the magic of the holidays! 💫

This year, Camp Crafty is excited to offer holiday party packages for children and adults inspired by the paper crafts of World War II that filled homes with handmade decorations and one-of-a-kind, homemade gifts during dark and restrictive times.
