Carpe Artista Musical Theatre Students had an AMAZING weekend in Atlanta, GA for The Junior Theater Festival! Our team was incredible in all of the ways! Some students were at their first JTF, while others have returned for year 6,7, or 10th year! This amazing team is led by Dr. Joanne O’Kain, Director, Amy Royer, Choreographer, and Kelsey Lepley, music director.

Students and directors took acting, dance, and vocal classes. Ms. Joanne even taught a session!

Highlights include:
✨Student Directors: Mae Ramsey, Reagan Mattingly, Robin Phelps, Gabe Moyer, and Alyssa Corbin

✨Excellence in Dance Award

✨JTF Social Media Team: Mae Ramsey and Taylor McGill

✨Tech Team participants: Reagan Mattingly, Alyssa Corbin, Sonya Mirskov, and Bella Johnson

✨Alyssa Corbin and Millie Ramsey as Performance All-Stars

✨Robin Phelps as a Tech All-Star and helped with microphones during all festival programming

✨Gavyn Elliott made callbacks for the iTheatrics Choreography videos

We are so proud of all of our students on this amazing trip! Congratulations to the other 7,500 people who participated at JTF! We can’t wait to see you again next year!

Happy Thanksgiving from NYC! These talented students just returned from a whirlwind trip to NYC where they opened for the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, took classes from Broadway professionals, and saw five incredible Broadway shows. We are thankful for the memories we made with these incredible young artists this week!

Congratulations to these talented students!!!💙🤍

The Nolensville High theater department traveled to Collierville, Tennessee, to compete in the Tennessee Theatre Association Festival at the end of October. 🎭️

Students performed an original show, See You Soon, written by NHS director Laura Parker. The group brought home a superior ranking for the performance and an award for Best in Ensemble.

"These students performed with excellence," Parker said. "While at the festival, they also auditioned for scholarships with colleges and universities in Tennessee."

These students are headed to NYC in ONE WEEK!! They will be taking classes from Broadway professionals, seeing Broadway shows, and singing as the opening act for the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall!!! We are so proud of these students!
