After a great deal of family discussion and prayer, I have decided to close The Flower District for right now. On Friday the orthopedic surgeon let us know that after Sheldon’s February 8th surgery, he will be faced with a 9-month-long rehabilitation period. Naturally, I will need to be available to be Sheldon’s transportation during that time! I have loved providing floral and decor services to our unbelievably supportive community and feel blessed beyond measure. Even though the doctor expects Sheldon to make a full recovery, we would appreciate prayers for patience over the next several months

To my loyal customers…due to circumstances beyond my control (My middle son, Sheldon hurt his knee) I’m currently in Warrensberg with him. Im taking him to and from Dr appointments. I will not be at the Flower District on a regular basis Consequently, I won’t be delivering flowers for the foreseeable future. I will update as soon as we get answers.

Blessings abound at The Flower District, so my posts have been few and far between😉 Making deliveries and filling coolers with arrangements at a variety of price points have kept me hopping‼️ As a new small-business owner, I have been overwhelmed by the support from Chillicothe and surrounding communities🥰
