“What wedding dress style best suits me?”

Not sure which direction to go for your wedding gown? Torn between the body-hugging mermaid silhouette or a full-skirted ball gown?

Maybe you’re sold on soft, neutral -colored fabrics? Or perhaps your heart lies with crisp white and timeless textures?

The truth is, many brides take to social media and online magazines to get bridal inspo for their ‘wedding look’ And let’s face it, things can become overwhelming, pretty quickly.

With so many options and swoon-worthy Pinterest boards, remember that NOTHING compares to actually stepping into and zipping up a gown in person.

Most of us aren’t used to donning fancy gowns in our everyday attire. So visit a bridal shop and give yourself the opportunity to actually SEE yourself in different silhouettes and colors. Take 360 pics and be open to trying things that may even seem outside of your comfort zone.

At the end of the day, the dress that leaves you unable to take your eyes off yourself in the mirror, THAT’s your winner.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect frozen drink and came across this fun Strawberry Daiquiri recipe with basil🌿 simple syrup from on Pinterest. (I mean…when is basil syrup ever a bad idea)

Sooo excited to give this recipe a try this week! This also seems like the perfect signature drink for an outdoor, summer celebration. 🍉🤔

Cheers to summer!

Strawberry Daiquiri w/Basil
¾ cup basil simple syrup
4 cups strawberries, fresh or frozen
¾ cup white rum
½ cup lime juice, fresh squeezed
2-4 cups ice cubes

If you’re reading this, consider it a sign to HIRE A PLANNER for your next gathering.

I can’t tell you how often I see folks forgo hiring an event planner only to find themselves frazzled and overwhelmed throughout a process that should be fun and exciting.

Look, I get it. You’re brilliant, organized, and maybe even do a great job managing logistics. Buuuuut planning an event is way more than securing vendors and showing up to a pretty space.

There’s a lot of behind the scene event management that quite frankly, can become a TIME-SUCK for a host planning an event on their own. And if there’s one thing we all wish we had a little bit more of, it’s TIME ⏳.

Working with an event planner allows your vision and event priorities to be managed and executed while YOU get to focus on all of life’s ‘other’ things that demand your attention.

Think of it as any other time-saving investment. Sort of like loading dirty dishes into a dishwasher that within an hour or so, delivers clean dishes for your use. Sure, you COULD clean all the dishes by hand…buuut you could also just push the START button and go do something else 🤷🏾‍♀️.
