It is the most incredible honour to be asked to be part of a couple’s big day and not one I take lightly at all! And it’s even more special when I get to write a ceremony for someone I have known and loved for more than 20 years!

You don’t need a specific celebrant- you need me!
So many couples feel pressured to do things a certain way for their weddings. But there are no rules!
I always say to my couples that you have to like your celebrant, you have to want to share your story with them and be happy to have them as part of your big day! And that’s why my couples choose me- not because I’m quirky or alternative or fit into a particular box, but because I’m kind, fun, approachable and a great storyteller!

Celebrancy knows no bounds…

I’ve been so lucky to carry out beautiful ceremonies in so many stunning locations! Each different from the last and somewhere special for my couples.

As a celebrant, I’m not bound by a venue’s license, you can hold your ceremony ANYWHERE! Forest- yep, field- you betcha, beach- absolutely or at any venue of your choosing.

I’ve got some crackers coming up too, this year and next, and I cannot wait to see my where my couples choose!

🥰 The joy is real 💍

Being asked to officiate a wedding makes me happier than my couples will ever know! Being trusted with something so important, being included on your big day and getting to ‘marry’ you is an honour and a privilege that is not lost on me!

I pride myself is getting to know my couples, so every wedding or vow renewal I have been a part of, feels like I’m marrying my friends! 🩵

My couples always say they are grateful for me, but truly, I’m eternally grateful for them!

Wow, what an incredible year for the Soulful Celebrant. I’ve worked with the most beautiful, loving and unique couples. I’ve visited stunning venues, read poems and love stories and even tried my hand at reading in Shona (the language of Zimbabwe).
My thanks will never explain enough how grateful I am to all the couples I get to work with. For putting their trust in me to be part of their biggest day. It truly is an honour and privilege!

The rules are…. THERE ARE NO RULES 🖤
Why include elements in your wedding that don’t suit you? With a celebrant, you can have exactly what you want! No stuffy ceremony, no standard vows, no sharing your embarrassing middle name- just because!
No two celebrant led weddings are the same. And that’s just the most perfect thing ♥️

A decision you’ll never regret! I promise!
The Groom’s grandmother gave me a compliment after this wedding! She told me it was the best ceremony she’d ever been too and said how much she enjoyed it!
Which for someone of grandparent age, must be saying something as I bet she’s been to a good few weddings!
Not to toot my own horn, but people always comment- on the warmth, the laughs, the personalisation of the script.
Why settle for stuffy when you can one of a kind?
