Yesterday I had the absolutely pleasure of marrying the gorgeous Mr and Mrs Sheppard! In a ceremony full of laughter, happy tears and the most amazing ‘flower men’ I’ve ever seen!

Today I had the pleasure of conducting a baby naming ceremony for the most gorgeous, smiley baby! It was so beautiful and full of love.
It was also my first chance to show off my beautiful new certificates, vow cards and presentation folders. The beautiful printed bits were designed by the lovely Charlotte at the who created a beautiful design that truly spoke to me.
I can’t wait to use her beautiful designs for all my upcoming ceremonies too! 💜

People might think I just want rock up on the day with my folder... but here’s what actually goes into prepping your big day.

1️⃣ First- the discovery call! I always say that you have to love your celebrant- they play such an important role in the day that you have to like them as a person! And I think you can tell that from the off!

We talk all things wedding and go through the role of the celebrant on the day. It’s a chance to ask questions, get ideas and see it I’m the right fit for your big day!

2️⃣ Next comes the face to face meeting! This can be done online too! This is chance for me to meet you as couple, ask lots of questions and understand the vibe of your day! This can be at your home, a cafe, a pub or wherever you’re comfy! It’s totally up to you!

After this meeting, I’ll send you over a questionnaire for both partners to complete and the script writing can begin!

3️⃣ I love getting to know my couples and it helps me to understand the vibe and dreams for the big day. So I love to receive pictures, WhatsApps, Pinterest boards and TikToks! Tell me what you love, what you loathe and what you see as your perfect day!

4️⃣ Now I write the script- taking everything I’ve learned from our meetings, messages and the questionnaires, I produce the script for your big day! This is unique, bespoke and totally one of a kind! No cookie cutter scripts here!

When the draft is done, I’ll send you to for checks and edits. I always tell my couples that I’d rather rewrite it 1000 times to make it perfect, than you have something you’re unhappy with! Not that, that ever happens! I promise!!

5️⃣ Then the big day and the ceremony of your dreams! Enough said! I promise to make it as perfect as I can!

And lastly… I love to keep in touch with my couples. I adore seeing life beyond the big day and hopefully working with you on future ceremonies!

Your vows, your way!

Whether it’s vowing not to nag about the bins or promising to rinse your beard hair out of the sink, your vows should be about YOU! 👈🏼

As lovely it is to ‘have and to hold’, what’s more important is always delivering a cuppa in bed at the weekends, running you a bath after a night shift or even picking your pants up off the floor! A celebrant led wedding lets you choose your own vows and they can be exactly what you want! 🥰

Baby Emmett’s naming ceremony was one of the first ceremonies for me and it couldn’t have been more special.

Charley and Cam put their trust in me and it was a gorgeous day for beautiful Emmett!
