Oh the beautiful Helleborus x hybridus referred to as 'Black beauty', 'Dark and Handsome' or even 'Black swan'.
Hybrid hellebores, commonly called hybrid Lenten roses is a semi-evergreen perennial with leathery, dark green leaves and upright stems bearing outward-facing, dark purple to maroon flowers from winter to spring. The flowers are cup-shaped, typically measuring 2-3 inches in diameter with 5 showy, usually overlapping petals (technically sepals), but sometimes occur in a double flowered form.

18 flower arrangements for one event, with table centrepieces full of cottage garden flowers, and pedestal arrangements with the deepest of beautiful blue hydrangeas. We were able to pick our cottage garden flowers first thing in the morning, from our wonderful supply of beautiful flowers we grow each year.

Huge congratulations to Jill and Mark on their wedding. Jill wanted classic emerald Hydrangea with beautiful Cymbidium orchids for her bouquet, and a flower crown of Orchids, Eucalyptus, Wax flower and Gypsophila.

It was a beautiful sunny morning, when I delivered the flowers to Eastwell Manor
