Let me paint the picture..... 🍰 the cake vendor is 30 min late and all you have is a name of a grocery store and an employee with no phone number on the contact list. So, I start calling around the surrounding grocery store locations in OKC to see which one had our cake order. After being placed on hold and being hung up on for AN HOUR STRAIGHT, I finally found the correct department, they do state they have a cake order down for our couple but it showed NO deliver but pickup 🙃 It's a classic situation that can happen. Also, the wedding cake employee is on vacation so I am having to try to work things out with this front desk bakery employee. So in my mind, great, we can go pick it up, the store is 20 min away... then I had a thought and asked, "Can you please confirm you have the actual cake before we send someone to pick it up?" Can you guess what the bakery said? The cake wasn't there. They never made it, and I went into ultimate problem solving mode to get this couple a wedding cake. I asked for what they had on hand, is it white, don't care what the flavor is at this point, is it stackable, do they have pearls??? We had a plan and needed it to take action and SOON. Our DIY cake arrived 30 min before ceremony and thankfully there was a family friend who had experience in cakes and put this together in record time about 45 min. before cake cutting!! Was it the cake they dreamed of? No.. BUT they had a cake to cut, serve, and eat with their theme in mind. We were also able to very last minute secure two dozen gluten free cupcakes from another bakery near by 20 min. before they closed! In total, it was a total process of 2 1/2 hours to get this solved. BUT THIS IS WHY YOU NEED A GOOD TEAM BY YOUR SIDE. 🤍🤍🤍

HRE Team Outing was a success! Traveled over to Tulsa to Wick & Flame Candle Bar ✨ Then went out to lunch while going over business updates, future plans, and giving them a little gift from me ❤️ Blessed to have the most hardworking team of girls!

One of our assistants is working a 15 hour wedding day today in Edmond, will then have to be at my house in Ponca City by 7:30am tomorrow, and then head up to northern Kansas to work a 12 hour wedding day tomorrow! The dedication is real! And she is well prepared 🫡
