This Thursday at Kings Dundee Tunage will be hosting a night that will be a nod to both past and present with some classic era oldskool along with some of the fresh sounds being released to date that are a continuation of the golden era of both uplifting and dark breakbeat hardcore where the likes of Carl Cox and Top Buzz made their names.
This night will be all about the music and sets which take you on a journey and entirely played out on a set of 1210's.

Tunage Oldskool kicks off tonight at 8pm at AfroBeats Dundee with the Tunage resident DJ's presenting a representative night of Oldskool Rave as we remember it. All sets will be played live with vinyl on a set of technics 1210's. DJ's on the bill include JMD, Fritz, The General, JFK and Diamond G. Tonight will be dedicated to Chris KOsiba for what would have been his 47th birthday.
Doors open at 8pm, close at 3am
£5 on the door

There will be 4 short sets in the that were filmed and edited at Park 5 Studio by Audiowave Soundhire who kindly asked Tunage, Frogbeats & Urban Flava to get involved in their contribution to the campaign with 4 different styles ranging from Hip Hop, Jungle, DNB and Hardcore from DJ's JMD, DJ Fritz, Ruff B and Diamond G. The second instalment in this series is DJ Fritz as he takes us on a short(and at times dark)journey through some classic Jungle. Filmed at Park 5 Studio of Audiowave Soundhire for the campaign is a short sub 20minute hip hop set from Frogbeats own JMD showing how to scratch and cut like a pro. These are s**t times for the nightlife and festival cultures and this campaign marks a year of falling silent. All support to acknowledge this and show some appreciation to those who would have been providing the means to make these events happen in normal times is greatly appreciated
