My good friend and photography mentor, Marlene, wanted some photos to commemorate her upcoming birthday. These were taken a while back- but when I went back through them I couldn’t help but smile! She shared so many great parks of Calgary with me… and that got me remembering my early days of photo adventures with Marlene. She’s a true friend, a veteran photographer and skateboarder(yes she still skates) and a really cool human. If you get the chance check her out - where she shoots and educates!!

What’s your favourite season? Shooting in Southern Alberta can be a challenge. Luckily, we try to leave enough open space on our calendars to juggle a session if the weather doesn’t cooperate. For weddings we strongly encourage a contingency plan. That being said- each season has its charm!
