That’s why, here at Rose Petal Events, as Los Angeles wedding planners, we have gathered some tips to assist you with choosing your own bridesmaids. Would you like to discover what these tips are? If so, be sure to read on:

Your Go-to Gals. In life, we all have people we turn to. Whether it be for a helping hand, or a listening ear, you likely have ladies in your life who you can lean on. These woman would certainly be ideal candidates to be your bridesmaids, as if you can count on them in life, you can count on them to be there for you on your big day!

No Obligations. It’s important that you don’t feel obligated to choose any women to be your bridesmaids. So, know that you don’t have to ask someone to be a bridesmaid simply because they asked you to be theirs. Or, because they hold a significant title in your life, such as a sister. After all, it’s your big day, and you shouldn’t feel as though you must make any decisions based off of anyone else’s opinions.

Ignore the Titles. Traditionally, bridesmaids are woman. However, in today’s world, there are no rules! So, know that you could choose men to stand by your side if you would like. After all, who says a bride’s closest friends must be women? Therefore, have a “Man of Honor” if you please!
