My name is Kaileigh, and I am the Owner and Lead Planner of Weddings by Kaileigh, LLC. While I've been a teacher for the last 11 years, I found my way into wedding planning last year and fell in love. I enjoy the organization, preparation, decoration and setup of each event. Feeling all the feels this weekend-my last wedding of the season was Thursday, with such a wonderful, genuinely just-happy-to-be-getting-married couple. It made me sad that this season is over. I’ve built so many incredible relationships with my couples over the last year and I’m going to miss them! *pleaseeee keep in touch!!* but also, I’m excited for the season of quiet and magic that comes with November and December with my babies. ✨ I’m also looking forward to getting to know next year’s couples more over the next few months. ❤️

This is how. This is what I build timelines from. This is a year’s worth of planning documents and contracts and notes. I keep each couple in their own folder with all of their notes and contracts. It keeps my control-freak brain happy 😅 also, the notes app on my phone is a game changer

Prepare to be spammed for the rest of time with this wedding. ALL of the pieces came together so magically, from the physical furniture set up, down to the limo ride at the end of the night.

My heart is exploding with love for these two special people who took a chance on me and let me plan their wedding with them from start to finish. It’s pretty rare that I get caught on camera doing my job, (my goal is not to be seen unless you need me). Rare capture by yesterday while working as the coordinator at ❤️ I love that working as a venue coordinator here allows me a better perspective of a wedding in it’s entirety. Plus, it’s a pretty fun and amazing team of people!!

Wow. Exactly one year ago today I did my first wedding. I was so fortunate to have a friend who was willing to let me jump in and help out with her wedding. I’ve learned so many things since that first one, and from so many incredible people. 🤍 Between the amazing new clients I get to work with and every day, and taking a part-time event coordinator role at a local venue, I feel so blessed and blown away to be where I am now. I didn’t imagine I’d have 3 employees one year in. I didn’t envision I’d be fully booked through October in year one. I didn’t dare hope that it would provide enough opportunity to let me take a leap of faith and leave the classroom to be a more present mama and build this new dream and passion I found after only have been here for a year.
