Q***r Art Swap: Trading Card Edition 🌸

Celebrate q***r creativity and connection through the playful and collectible medium of art trading cards hosted by Art educator Anna Kreiger! Artists and enthusiasts alike are invited to swap, trade, and showcase their custom-made trading cards, all while fostering a vibrant q***r community. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a first-time creator, this event is open to all skill levels and identities. Come for the art, stay for the community.

Trading Card Gallery: Display your handmade art trading cards for others to see and trade. Each card is a mini masterpiece that captures your unique voice and style.

Trading & Collecting: Attendees can swap cards with each other, build collections, and connect over shared interests. Bring your own cards or create some on-site!

DIY Card Creation Station: Supplies will be provided for attendees to create their own trading cards during the event. No prior experience necessary.

Enjoy nosh & nibble, sandwiches, salads, wine and nonalcoholic beverages from The Café at Roots Zero Waste Market.

Tinted Chapstick’s - Vice’s Thriftiest Gardening Tips & Planting

Join Vice as she simplifies growing in the ground and in containers. She will go over how to use and reuse stuff you already have and what stuff to get inexpensively. This session is meant for beginner gardeners but there are ideas and takeaways for anyone to get inspired by. Everyone is welcome in a space that acknowledges there’s no such thing as a green thumb and gardening just requires learning some simple information. Vice will guide gardeners with their own potting (all supplies covered in registration).

Topics covered;growing basics, what to buy and what to avoid, local resources for free materials and free information, and the easiest beginner crops and flowers.
