On the afternoon of Friday, September 13, Papa and his ice cream truck were hired by Live Nation to serve the band members of Bush, their stage crew, and Cal Coast Credit Union Amphitheater staff delicious frozen treats. Unfortunately Papa’s cellphone was stolen about an hour before he arrived at the venue - so guess what?
NO PICTURES of Gavin Rossdale, Nik Hughes, or Chris Traynor enjoying their frozen treats by the Groovymobile. What a bummer.
To the thief who stole my phone when I walked away from my Tacoma for less than 90 seconds to check the details of a Parking sign - your parents must be so utterly disappointed in you.

Papa had a really nice ice cream catering job he did for an 8-year old’s birthday party in Encinitas. It’s so fun to see the look on a child’s face when they see his little ice cream truck for the first time, and watch them as they try to decide which frozen treat they want to choose. It’s a big decision!!

Papa’s at the main gymnasium area at UCSD Campus for a volleyball tournament hosted by the Chemistry & Biochemistry Dept. Papa’s guessing everyone is mainly here for the taco bar and totally unique, one-of-a-kind, groovy ice cream truck full of frozen deliciousness!! But he may be biased. 😜
Papa’s at a graduation party in Valley Center. Unfortunately it got so busy so quickly he wasn’t able to take a picture of the crowd, but the cars and trucks around the property give an indication how many friends and family are here to celebrate! (And about 10 cars have already departed…)
Papa’s Groovy Ice Cream is at a private event for the Garage Collective Car Club. There are a LOT of nice cars here. Wow!
