We go over the top to provide a safe and wonderful 1st time pony experience for every child. We use TWO handlers for each pony - one handler leads the pony and the 2nd "spots" the child. Our ponies are bomb proof, but children can be unpredictable so we use two experienced employees with every pony. EPPP are the only party pony providers in West Texas and Southern New Mexico with 20 plus years of

Actual "party pony" experience, along with 40+ years of owning, riding, training and caring for horses, ponies and many other farm animals. We use only Welsh ponies for their amazing temperaments and size. They are bigger and more mellow than Shetland ponies which typically can carry up to about 70lbs safely. Mini Horses are tiny and shouldn't carry more than 30lbs. We have a strict weight limit policy for the safety of pony and rider. Ponies can become crippled for life when they carry too much weight. This pain makes ponies irritable and creates biting, kicking and bucking issues. Please keep this in mind when comparing services. Our ponies are happy and healthy because we Know what we are doing and we do it well. We have NEVER had an issue with kicking, biting or bucking - EVER! We provide a premium service on every level. We can promise you that your guests will be impressed with our amazingly sweet and well trained and groomed ponies - as well as our employee's who will cater to your child with respect and knowledge. EPPP also provides pony services for media/advertising, Grand openings and any party venue. Private pony rides for visitation's or impromptu pony surprises also, same price but less riders mean more photos! Almost like a pony ride photo shoot - change outfits, create your next Christmas card photo or... maybe Family Reunion photo. Our photographers are award winning and experienced with children as well. Our latest big win came last summer when Jackie took "Best in Show" at the Southern New Mexico Fair and Rodeo Photo competition - with a photo of a child. We bring our Pony right to your party! Your home or party hall, Grandma's house - wherever - except a city park. Our beautiful white pony will bring a smile to everyone at the party - not just the kiddos. Our 2 EPPP handlers will es**rt the giddy kiddies around your yard for TWO hours. The fantastic photos of all the fun will pop up for years to come in Graduation and wedding collages - and of course every family get together. This will be a memory you will not want to forget. Plus - what a sweet surprise it will be if your guests receive an adorable picture of their child riding a pony at your party in a Thank You card. EPPP provides pony rides for parties all year round and we recommend that you book early to guarantee your party date. Most holidays, spring break and summer vacation dates book very quickly. Call (915)487-0224 to rsvp. *when available, we can do certain actual Holidays (like July 4th, Fathers Day or Memorial Day) - the fee will be $75 extra, we will miss our own holiday to be at yours. EPPP Does NOT use any mini-horses, they should not carry more than 30 to 40 lbs without causing permanent damage and pain for the mini. We are serious when we say "SAFETY and Fun are #1" - we would NEVER cause harm to our precious ponies. Our guidelines are meant to ensure that our ponies are happy and healthy. We want happy ponies who are glad to come to parties and ride kids around, not tortured by constant pain and injury. Please do your homework when hiring a pony to come to your party, go SEE the pony and its facilities - if your happy with what you see, then great! If not, then don't bring more harm to animals whose owners don't care or worse yet have not educated themselves on how to care for animals or even know how saddle a horse of pony. Equipment is key to safety! Not only having safe, clean and maintained saddles, halters, lead ropes and such - but knowing how to USE them is extremely important to safety of rider and pony. For instance, a horse or pony lead rope is of sturdy material and build for a reason - its called Safety. So using a "dog" leash to lead a horse or pony is an accident waiting to happen - as well as fastening a saddle with nylon cords. Experience and Education is an expected part of providing a service to the public, don't settle for less. Ignorance may be bliss sometimes - but NOT
when it comes to the safety of your child.

Thank you for your support, your business and your interest in our services. El Paso Party Unicorn and El Paso El Paso Party Ponies will be Moving out of El Paso soon. We have this months worth of booked events and are not taking any more. It’s been almost 20 years of the most precious and unforgettable moments and memories here in the southwest, where our family was born and raised. My Three amazing daughters have inspired our business to make the same precious memories with horses, ponies and unicorns - for your families. One day I hope my grandchildren (when I have them 🤭) will still be doing what we do. Your wonderful memories with us, are also Our memories of amazing families who went over the top to make sure a child’s wish came true. Fall is here, and Christmas is coming!
Plan now for great pony moments. Let us reintroduce ourselves : Still Family owned and grown, almost 20 years in fact. We bring an incredibly well trained and experienced pony right into your party for the kids to learn and love on. Two hours of what ever the Birthday child wants to do, which has usually been 95% ride, and 5% brush him. We’re cool with either! Oh Bob, the pony, loves to take selfies too btw. We come to any address in the El Paso city limits for two hours of fun. Out of city limits travel fee adds $50 - which includes Las Cruces btw. Even with diesel at its highest ever, we have not increased our travel fee. Simple and fun, that’s what we do. Pony carry’s up to 100lb (with just a lil wiggle room). We also include ten digital images to be edited and sent to you within 10 days. I clearly remember each and every horsey ride, hug, pet, smell and moment as a child. I quickly just knew that horses Will be a part of my life always. We try and share that feeling for even a few minutes with each and every child we see at our pony or unicorn party’s. Better yet, I absolutely know They will remember those moments for a lifetime too.

PART 2 - Bath time! Party ponies get more baths than other horses/ponies. Not only do we want him clean and handsome for the party, it’s always a chance to get our hands all over him so he gets used to being handled so much, but also we can check to see if he has any small cuts, bumps or injuries that we need to tend to. Poppy has a fabulous attitude/disposition and is coming along nicely as Bob’s right hand man. Thanks for reading!

PART ONE, B, this exercise will actually happen on many days in different ways. The point is to expose him to many odd things over the years, since “training” is a full time job. Looks silly, but horses are very sensitive and their vision isn’t always great, so they have to trust their gut and also trust US. Poppy is passing with flying colors!
*Side note: apparently Poppy is soooo relaxed with our testing, that he is able to “relieve” himself during this session - lol

PART ONE of Poppy’s pony party training. A pony or horse that is able to be calm when the unexpected happens, is exactly what we train for. Kids are unpredictable sometimes and for most it’s their 1st visit with a pony ever. So they’re not sure what to do or not do, and they are super excited/hyper at times. They mean no harm but horses are usually very flighty by nature. In the wild, a quick response can mean the difference between life and death. This instinct never leaves them. We have to earn a horses respect and trust, that WE have all situations under control and will Never Ever allow harm to come to them. Once they understand and truly believe this to be true, a horse will put his life in your hands and trust you Implicitly. Only then will we allow him to join Bob to work at EPPP. In the video you will see that we introduce unique situations that will likely never happen but the point is that Poppy knows we won’t allow or expose him to harm of any kind. If he truly trusts us, he will remain calm.
*Side note: this was the very 1st time we had done this with him, we had no clue he’d be this calm, but not totally surprised either.

Not sure what will become of TikTok yet. But I spent many hours learning how to make fun or silly videos of our critters, with literally no instructions or directions. It was a creative outlet that I would have never know if it hadn’t been for quarantine. More to come 😁

We have stayed busy with many projects over the summer. Most important is keeping both Bob, our pony of over 12 years in perfect health and condition, as well as Poppy who we’ve had only 4 months. We’ve also begun his party pony training, videos coming soon on his progress. Since we haven’t been working, exercise is important. Almost every night we lunge the ponies in the corral. We also are raising some chickens and ducks. But the biggest project is helping all the critters to live in harmony. This also includes cats dnd dogs too. So every evening this is basically what you see at our place and you’ll meet all these critters when you book a photo shoot. I’ll be posting fun videos of our funny farm adventures til we can get back to Party Pony times again. Enjoy!

HELLO.....we miss you!
Well it’s August, and not much has changed in the Covid corral. We were truly hoping for a temporary time out, but the current statistics still indicate that large gatherings are not truly safe yet. Though we still work on a daily basis, keeping Bob and Poppy healthy and happy, our options are limited on working parties.

- for every year, every child and every memory starts with Mom, usually. Sometimes Dad’s make it happen but we will celebrate him next month. I want to personally Thank every Mom who has ever called on El Paso Party Ponies - or Unicorn, to complete that perfect moment that your child will remember for a lifetime. The time and effort you invest in celebrating, honoring and showing your love, will be an investment in your child’s confidence, giving spirit and pride.
