Lumberjack Match

After months and months of back and forth (both in the ring and outside of it), we have finally reached the climax of this heated rivalry between QWA stalwart Aaron Van Der Maw and newcomer Tim Burr. Van Der Maw claims that there is no reason to prove his worth against the hulking lumberjack, but after the vicious disrespect toward himself and close friend Ebony Angel - QWA Wrestler , it would appear the Master of Mahogany has had enough. The result? Both men will go head-to-head in a LUMBERJACK MATCH.

In a Lumberjack Match, members from the QWA roster will surround the ring and should either man leave the squared circle, their fate will be up to that of the 'lumberjacks'.

Will Tim Burr deal out some good, old fashioned, working mans justice? Or will Van Der Maw demonstrate once again that he's not just a pretty face?

Whiplash - QWA Wrestler will be in attendance to address the current situation he finds himself in, as he pushes for his in-ring debut against Dick Riggs.

Whiplash has been training diligently at the QWA Academy for close to a year, and has repeatedly stated that the man that got him into wrestling was none other than the 'Indestructible' one, himself. A two-time QWA Champion, Riggs has endeared himself to the hearts of our fans many times over, yet hasn't been seen on QWA events since his most recent loss to Sam Cannon in June.

Whiplash has called out Riggs in the past to no avail. He has also stated that he will not step into a QWA ring to wrestle unless it is against the man that has ignited his passion for the sport that we all love so dearly.

Rumours have been swirling that Dick Riggs is aware of Whiplash's intentions.

Will Whiplash get the match he has been craving for so long? Or will the 'Indestructible' remain invisible?

Sheriff K vs. JC Sabotage
Time Limit Legacy Trial

Both of these competitors pride themselves on gathering information on their opponent, or systematically taking them down with their skills and expertise. Who will come out on top when the pressure is on?

Time Limit Legacy Trial:
This trial has been designed to ascertain who is the most proficient at deciphering how to defeat their opponent. A pre-determined time limit will be set prior to the match, and their MUST be a winner before the clock strikes zero.

Sheriff K gathers intel on every opponent he faces, and is a formidable physical threat. JC Sabotage is a trained fighter, and has been educated in the ways of targeting a weakness and exploiting it. It is then reasonable to assume that both men are capable of defeating their opponent quickly... Which they will have to do if they want any hope of competing in 'The Final Legacy Trial' come October 28th.

Will Sherrif K's intel be enough to help him break down JC Sabotage? Or will Sabotage continue his meteoric rise? Who will cement their legacy? Who will progress to 'The Final Trial'.

Know Your Place Legacy Trial

Edmund Blayr is a rugged, and violent brawler that deals an absurd amount of damage on the outside of the ring. Marshall Samson is a talented, yet arrogant young man that continually claims he from a place better than Townsville. So when it comes to a pair of competitors that will do anything to escape their confinements, what will happen to these men when we take away their ability to leave?

Know Your Place Legacy Trial:
This trial has an incredibly simple premise: If either competitor leaves the ring (either willingly or without conscious volition) they will be disqualified, and their opponent will progress to the final trial.

Will Edmund Blayr be able to contain his violence to the inside of the squared circle? Or will 'Prince' Marshall Samson tolerate Townsville just that little bit longer? Who will cement their legacy? Who will progress to 'The Final Trial'.

Uneven Playing Field Legacy Trial

Angus is a long way from home, and he's just looking for a chance to write his name amongst the QWA greats - all whilst doing it the right way; achieving his goals by the book. Ace Addams spat on the book and threw it away the day they stepped foot into the QWA. Ace began forging their legacy on the broken back of Stitches the Clown, and there's no turning away now.

Uneven Playing Field Legacy Trial:
In the fourth Legacy Trial, ACE ADDAMS CANNOT BE COUNTED OUT OR DISQUALIFIED. Why? Well, since Angus Sharp enjoys playing local pub hero, and deals out the 'by the book' beatings that mama used to make... We at QWA wanted to see exactly how much punishment this Bogan Brawler can actually take, and if he'll even stick to his convictions. What better way to do that then match him up against someone that has very little regard for honour or respect? Put simply, Ace Addams can do as they please but all of the rules still apply for Angus Sharp.

How will Angus fair against our moody, malicious teenager? Ace Addams should have this one in the bag... right? Who will move on to the Final Trial? Who will cement their legacy?

It's official, everyone! After we have not one, but TWO contenders for the QWA United Heavyweight Championship on September 16th! Bojack and Trent O'Day submitted Seth Tylors at the same time to finally earn the opportunity that has eluded them for months... Meanwhile, 'Big Business' Cannon is less than impressed.

This match promises to showcase three of the best the QWA has to offer, and they will be doing it in front of a majority crowd that cannot decide whether they want Bojack to be crowned champion for the first time, or whether they want the 'Multiverse Marauder' to fill the universe with gold. The rest don't want Cannon's reign to end at all...

🌴Introducing our new logo 🌴

Here at the Queensland Wrestling Alliance, we decided that it was time to upgrade our current look to match our newfound direction.

We opted for a sleek, circular design to represent our wholistic approach to the betterment of professional wrestling. The ‘badge style’ design also physically represents the badge of honour we all share when we work together under the banner of the QWA.

The colours were kept simple but reminiscent of the previous logo to create a sense of nostalgia, whilst also becoming more vibrant as we move into the future. We ensured that a vibrant red undertone was visible throughout the design to represent our passion for the wrestling business.

Finally, has been kept at the forefront of the design throughout the planning process, and this can be clearly seen through the utilisation of the sun and trees in the background.

This new design is a symbol of the future that we hope to create here at QWA, as well as a promise to our fans that we will continue to provide entertainment to the best of our ability.

Though we have had our trials and challenges, wrestling in Townsville will endure and move forward. We are excited for the future.
