Our bride & groom wanted an outside ceremony with a view of the beautiful Chateau. Because of the rain predicted on the wedding day we had a plan B and C. However we never gave up on plan A!!!!

As they really wanted an outside ceremony we waited until 11.30 am to make the decision (wedding ceremony started at 1pm). A tent wasn’t possible at the venue due to various reasons.

Once it stopped raining we only had 30-45 minutes to do the set up! I thank God for my crazy team 💃✨

So happy we decided to wait till the last minute (literally 😅). The bride really wanted an outside ceremony and so happy we were able to this (because do you see the result)

As a wedding planner and event stylist the decisions you make when you don’t have control are really the most important. The ceremony really set the tune for the whole day 🙆‍♀️

When the bride said to us she doesn’t love roses we wanted to make sure to still use flowers that give a romantic atmosphere. We therefore replaced roses with dianthus flowers.

The venue didn’t allow us to use candles, therefore we decided to use the draping to still create the romantic feeling.

Did we succeed? Always love it when everything comes together 🥰

The Love shoot

***Tip of the day***
One of the most important moments on the wedding day is the love shoot. The pictures of only the couple.

✅Always provide enough time in your timeline for the shoot. We always suggest a min of 30min to 1 hour
✅Check the picture location out in advance and pin point (google maps) the exact location you could take pictures. On the day of you don’t have to to find the exact spot and avoid waisting time.
✅ We love for the couples to be alone at this moment with the photographer. This way they are able to enjoy their time together as a wedding day can be crowded with a lot to interactions. This could be your moment of rest.

Remember these are the pictures you will look at 20 years from now!

The morning of the wedding day could be very stressful. Here are our 3 tips to start your wedding day.

1) Have your own hotel room or your own space! Honestly so many people on that day it’s just great to get ready in a place that is only for you where you can start your day in peace.

2) Have breakfast! It’s a long day so start your day with a good meal.

3) Have a coordinator/someone in charge on your wedding day. You should enjoy your day and not be the point of contact for all the different vendor. Also the person in charge would be able to overlook that everything happens timely.

Tip: adding small vases to the table highlights the big centerpieces. It also adds a dimension to your table setting when combining it with high candles.

We transformed their living corner into a full event space.

This set up was done for the engagement of Diane and Jules. A few weeks before their wedding. We used different shades of pinks and soft colors as florals. The combinations of the different floral gives it an edge feel, however adding the gold accents gives it a timeless feeling.

When styling the venue we think about the theme and colors of the couple, but also think of which elements are needed to accentuate the room. In this venue the modern chandeliers really made everything come together.

Table numbers is a must in order to keep your event smooth and organized. However we also love table numbers because of the decor element. It just always brings this extra element to the decor ☝️

A table set up should always highlight the centerpiece. This is why we like to keep our settings simple, classy and clean. The overall theme and colors should definitely be visible. For this event the theme colors were white, gold, marble and emerald green. Since the emerald green is strong colour we decided to only use this for the couple’s seat and the entrance.
