Folio, French DJ from Reunion Island, has become a key actor of Ho Chi Minh City’s vibrant dance scene from 2017 to 2020.

As a lifelong music enthusiast, his early passion for rhythms and grooves has evolved into an irresistible, soulful collection of exclusive records, enveloping house, minimal techno, electro, and punctuated with hidden gem disco flourishes. He's played at events like kamarads records event, Groove Sauvage, Technicentre and Reunion Sonore back on his island, and Casa nocte in Paris. Back in Asia in

2023, he has made scenes grooving over Vietnam (Savage, The Observatory, The Lighthouse, (Re)Treat festival, Likdo Festival), Thailand (Beam cube, Bangkok community Radio, 12x12), and venues coming soon in Hong Kong and Japan. Recently, he joined the METRØ crew, spreading underground music and vinyl culture throughout Asia.

Growing in French tropical island (Reunion) and originally hip-hop enthusiastic, Folio is a music treasure hunter. He grew up in a musician family with 2 brothers playing in Punk Rock bands as guitarist and bassist. As he wanted to look like his elders, he learned to play Drums and got passionate by rhythmics and groove. Time passed and he diversified his musical interests before arriving to the French capital underground scene. He spent 5 years there learning about electronic music and sharpening his gems’ hunting skills to share it with friends.
