I love, love, LOVE first looks. Before the ceremony first-looks? They are relaxed, lovely, and wonderful.

But there will always be something special about the moment eyes meet on the way to the altar. The brilliance of her smile, the smile in his eyes. It's electric and oh, so sweet to witness.

This family has my heart. They open their home and hearts and shower kids with love and stability and ....everything. Even knowing that the kid(s) may or may not be reunified with their biological families in a day or a year...they love them without reservation. Knowing full well that saying goodbye will both be painful, and triumphant.

I can't show you their adorable darling(s) but know this: The kid(s) in their care are well loved. The world needs more people like these two. They're not perfect. But they are perfect foster parents. I'm honored they invited me into their home today to capture a small measure of the love in their home.
