At first, always down the front dancing... until acquiring his first set of decks at the start of the 90’s, then onto his first paid gigs in 1992. Since then he’s been playing vinyl, pushing buttons, and sliding faders for over twenty eight years...His first residency came about in 1992 at The Garage Club in Rhodes, Greece. Renowned throughout all of Greece as one of their first clubs playing hou
se music, The Garage was the place to check out, even ahead of many places in the capital Athens. Kenzi soon found himself working alongside some of Greece's most well known DJ's almost immediately and international guests soon after. Later in the UK mid-nineties Kenzi started playing minor guest spots at clubs and raves throughout the north and beyond, which in turn led to residences at The Arena in Middlesbrough, and both Bliss & Rockshots in Newcastle - whether as a hired DJ or dabbling in early event promotions, it all formed the beginnings of what has now proved to be a life long obsession playing underground music to a receptive audience.Since those early days, Kenzi went on to play many amazing events and clubs over the years and worked alongside many internationally known DJ’s, favourite events include Nemesis(GR), Homelands Festival(UK), Paradiso Beach Club(GR), Deja Vu(UK), Odd(GR), Warehouse 90(UK), Electric Beach Festival(GR) and Sing Sing Theater(TH).As well as DJ he is event partner/owner with Pure Techno, Reunion, Electric Beach, Sonic Park and others. These days playing more of his own tastes in techno, minimal, tech house and anything else from the darker spectrum of dance music he's managed to maintain a nightlife industry career spanning over 2 decades and doesn't look like stopping anytime too soon. Currently based in Thailand, gigging is still on the cards. Early 2020 saw Kenzi bring Danny Rampling to SingSing Theater in Bangkok. End of August he moved to the islands to wait out the pandemic and is now lined up for events in Koh Phangan, Phuket, Koh Chang, Bangkok and more are all pencilled in for once the virus passes.
