On behalf of myself, Daniel Yopp, and the boys, we would like to express our gratitude for the many who have reached out through various means to check on us in the wake of this unprecedented storm.
We appreciate your care! We have had no power, little to no cell reception, but now have areas of internet, so I felt this would be the best place to update.
Firstly, we are Thanking God for his hand of protection covering our family and friends!
Our minds can not fathom the wreckage we are seeing and experiencing, but we are safe and together, and gratitude is overwhelming.
That said, our home is severely damaged when a huge tree landed on and IN our house early Friday morning, both floors have sustained ruin, and miraculously only the side of the house with all bedrooms (where we were in the early morning hours of the storm) are untouched. 🙏
It was and is surreal, but though our home is now unlivable, and we are packing up what is salvageable of home 🏡 and life as we knew it, we have not lost our hope in this storm.
The next chapter is still very uncertain, and there are many emotions, and questions of decisions to come, but our hearts our resting in our God who has brought us safely thus far and will continue to lead and guide us by his light, even in the darkest hours.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of support, prayers, care, and helping hands from our family and friends near and far. ♥️
We feel uplifted and honored beyond measure to navigate this challenge with you by our side. Truly, our eyes have filled with grateful tears more than sorrow.
Knowing we are not alone in what we are facing, this was such a devastating and far reaching storm, and multitudes of families are grappling with loss much greater in capacity…We pray for those affected, and for deep comfort, strength, and wisdom in the coming days.
With Love, Bri
