🔊 Meet Sunken Frequencies - Our Newest Subciety Artists 🔊

We’re excited to introduce Jonathan Beeman and Sean Chevalier of Sunken Frequencies—the duo that’s about to make waves on the Subciety roster! They bring a melodic, dark, & distorted sound to the scene inspired by ancient cultures, anime, video games, and hip-hop. Together, they bring a rich blend of experiences and influences that have shaped their unique sound.

Influenced by artists like , , .widdler, , and CRoW they craft tracks that are as thought-provoking as they are powerful.

Sean, born in Puerto Rico and raised in South Florida, now resides in Jacksonville, FL. While Johnny, originally from Orlando, FL, spent some time moving between Orlando and Kansas before settling back in his hometown.

Sean’s journey began with guitar and bass in middle school, but the energy of electronic shows in high school sparked his true passion. Johnny immersed himself in multiple instruments and music production, eventually starting a promotion company. Their shared love for bass music led to the formation of Sunken Frequencies—a project born out of their desire to create music that resonates on a deeper level.

After playing a few shows with our Subciety crew, they knew this was the right place for them.

🚨NEW ARTIST ALERT - Introducing OldGold

We’re hyped to welcome Rolando Ramiro, AKA OldGold, to the Subciety family! His sound is all about bass music with a strong sound system focus 🔊 Drawing inspiration from early , , and Tempa; his sets are packed with percussive elements that keep the crowd moving.

Born in San Antonio and now repping Austin, Texas, OldGold began his music journey in 2009. It wasn’t until 2014 that he truly made his mark after discovering Massive by Native Instruments. Realizing the power of creating his own music, he launched his record label Silent Motion Records to curate and bring together tunes that resonated with his vision. This built both his artist name and the label’s reputation.

Subciety has always felt like home to him, both at local events and when traveling out of state. Working with Freddy and the team over the past few years, he’s seen firsthand Freddy’s dedication to vibe curation and overall respect—a perfect match for what he seeks in a team.

While we can’t reveal too much, OldGold is currently working on a couple of EPs with some of his favorite artists. Fans can also expect more frequent releases as he dives deeper into his craft, with some major festival bookings in the works for 2025! 👀
