The 35th annual Art Gallery Paint-In returns is in full swing in Victoria today. Saturday July 20, 2024. I close the event again at 5pm with a 1 hour set. Come down if you can!

More info: One of the largest art festivals of its kind in Canada, this event features artists, activities, music, food and fun. This beloved festival draws over 40,000 visitors annually to explore art along Moss Street and brings Vancouver Island artists together in celebration of art!

Victoria Pride weekend was so much fun! Thank you to everyone who came out to support me. It truly meant a lot, especially the folks who came to KWENCH Saturday and then caught both my sets at Pride.

I’m coming up on 10 years here in Victoria and I remember coming to Pride about 10 years ago and I remember saying, “they need a DJ.” The person I was with said they thought I should be the DJ.

So, when my friend reached out to play a Pride event this year, I thought it was a periphery event, like what I’ve played numerous times since coming to Vic. But, then I realized it was for actual Pride. Had no idea that dream would ever come true.

I only had 2 30 minute sets at Pride and 1hr 20 minutes at Kwench to win over hearts and minds. Pictures will come, but from the Conga lines, to the b***y drops, methinks I did just fine.

I haven’t felt that supported in a while, so it was healing. Even connected with some old friends, which brought me clarity.

Next up: tonight 7/10 at Ship Point downtown I am broadcasting Ep 169 of BadRabbitRadio live in our outdoor venue. 6-8pm.

I’m here every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this summer hosting the site and djing bi-weekly. Reach out / come down! Free. Games, concerts and beer truck on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Food trucks every day.

Then July 19 I’m on Busking Jury again. :)

Save the Date: July 20 Paintin off Moss Street with The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. I’m coming back this year to close off the party for the last hour on the main stage. Hope to see you artful folk there!

💜 Tomorrow the 6th, I'm closing KWENCH from 1040pm to midnight.
