THIS ONE 🥹!!! Every couple is different. Some have wedding planners, coordinators, ect. some DO NOT. IMO, the trait of a professional Master Of Ceremonies is so much more than just the ability to make announcements...But, the ability to connect with a room full of strangers, and make them feel comfortable in the setting, and letting them know what to expect! For us at Northern Beat Entertainment it starts with the planning. It does take time...But the end result is SO WORTH IT! I remember the days we used to go into weddings and get 'surprised' by a last minute toast, request, or surprised by sun set photos that turned an hour and a half dinner, into a 2 hour dinner! THAT HASN'T HAPPENED IN A LONG TIME! Our events are so much better for it too! That allows us to focus solely on the vibe and the energy of the guests, and keep things flowing to create that ELECTRIC energy once we begin celebrating! Which has helped us create a consistency to our events, where every event is a BANGER! The couple were hyping me up to ALL OF THEIR GUESTS for this one! Guests continually came up to me and calling me 'The Vibe Doctor' 🤣 maybe i'll keep that name 🤷‍♂️ I don't have a stage name any more...and it does sound better than Tony Lackie 🤣🤣🤣

Our DJ, Scott Carter had an opportunity to celebrate with Liza & Trey at Portage Point Inn! It was such a beautiful setting to host a celebration! Along, with the incredibly talented Colin McCahill playing saxophone, it was an incredible experience 🥰 congratulations to Liza & Trey!

Our DJ, Scott Carter had an opportunity to celebrate at one of our FAVORITE venues Bay View Weddings at Gallagher Farms with Kali & Mac! Scott certainly knows how to keep the party going, and the staff at Bay View Weddings are ALWAYS amazing!

What an INCREDIBLE time, we had celebrating with Taylor & Ross at Inn at Bay Harbor, Autograph Collection! They're group was incredibly energetic, and Debbie Luhrs from Beyond Eventful did such an incredible job! Always an amazing experience working with these professionals! SUCH AN INCREDIBLE NIGHT!

Did the group bring the energy! Thank You Nathaniel & Nadia, for allowing us to celebrate this day with you! CONGRATULATIONS! We're so glad everybody had a great time!

Our FIRST review of the 2024 wedding season! We had such an incredible time celebrating with Rob & Riana at Peninsula Room! The guests certainly brought the energy, and had an INCREDIBLE TIME! Congratulations to Rob & Riana! Thank you, for allowing us to celebrate this amazing day with you!

What an INCREDIBLE night, we had celebrating at the Peninsula Room with Rob & Riana! The day started a little gloomy, and with the fear of rain! As the day progressed, it became a beautiful day, fit for celebration! The Northern Lights were even visible from the beach for a few minutes, and the couple were able to get an incredible photo! The guests were amazing, congratulations to the newlyweds! May you have many years of good health, and happiness! Here’s to new adventures!

Our friends from The Cobblestone Farm saw the sad news coming out of Nature: A Michigan Retreat and decided to do something to help those couples who may be struggling with the latest news. Losing your wedding venue, a few months away from your wedding is the worst-case scenario.... Because, for those couples to book new venues they will most likely not be able to keep their original wedding date. Depending on availability, location, and cost...Some couples will have to move their dates around...Which could conflict with the vendors they have booked...Especially their DJ! After seeing this, and realizing the gravity of the situation for some of these couples we have also decided to discount the prices for open wedding dates for those couples who may have to move their date, and potentially lose their DJ because of the date switch! If you're a couple who was originally booked at Nature and lost your DJ due to having to move your wedding date, reach out to us! We understand this is a difficult thing to do...Logistically, a bit of a nightmare...We're here to help in any way that we can!

We have heard the unexpected and unfortunate news of a local venue suddenly closing, leaving couples without a venue this year. Although we are booked for the 2024 season, we have decided to open up our Friday dates to anyone who needs a beautiful wedding this year. To help these couples out in this time of need we have also decided to discount to our lowest price ever for our Fridays to help take the pressure off and truly have a magical wedding. $5000 for any Friday we have available for the 2024 season 🤍

Our very own Scott Carter did such an amazing job performing, and putting everything together at Traverse City Elks Lodge #323 for his Elvis Through My Eyes performance to benefit Project Feed The Kids and other food insecurity aid organizations! We were honored to have been asked to set up the lighting, and provide a Photo Booth for the event! The band performing with him, were so incredibly talented and down to earth! What a great time it was!
