This was one of my favorite weddings of 2024 because Heidi had waited so long for this day and... I got to travel to South Padre Island in Texas. Yes! Love to It was a hot, sweaty, windy day but so much fun! Love ❤️💕these guys!

With Laura & Alex's wedding we are really able to highlight all the different things you you can incorporate floral design into and we're not just talking about bouquets and boutonnieres. This collection shows animal collars, aisle runners, free standing arches, welcome sign, cake, and table arrangements w/ garland runner.

Just back from this year's wedding industry convention in Las Vegas. We heard a lot of good presentations including the trends for 2025 and saw a lot of great exhibits. Here are a few highlights! You'll see displays that are great for photo ops because who doesn't love a great photo op! You'll see a phone booth with floral accent, balloon walls mixed in with florals, sofas with floral accents, greenery backdrops with neon signs, dramatic sweetheart table designs. Also, a couple of random pics of professional entertainers and machines that create bubbles and smoke for your dance floor.

We wanted to take a moment to recognize a new full service caterer on the scene. We are very excited to tell you about River & Range Catering and we had the opportunity to sample a few of their menu items. We happen to be a little picky about what we like to eat and we are happy to report that it was amazing and was also paired beautifully with wines which they also happen to know a thing or two about. They can customize a menu to your liking and budget for your wedding AND the best part (you can schedule a tasting)!!

A trip to Music Row with friends and family was the perfect way to end a great wedding season. In a few days we'll be off to Vegas for the wedding industry convention and THEN we rest up to get ready for next year!!

Just a few vendor highlights from one of our favorite weddings this season. There ceremony was held at the beautiful Big Sky Chapel in Big Sky, MT. It's made of log and stone and has huge windows that look out at Lone Mountain. More to come highlighting some of our other vendors!

There are some really beautiful details in these pics from Taylor & Ricky's wedding captured by One of my favorites is the horses in the background behind their sweetheart table. I look forward to seeing them every time I get to visit the ranch. We had a great vendor team with everything from the florals, greenery, hair and makeup, DJ and cake/cupcakes.

Our Story

Alexandra (Al) Black and Michelle Schurg met while working at various wedding venues from West Glacier to Hamilton and everywhere in between. It was during this time that they developed their vision and ideas about weddings, venues, floral design, catering, entertainment, wedding cakes, reception design and everything else involved with event planning. They are both affiliated with several businesses in the event industry and are based out of Lolo, MT. Alexandra is a floral designer trained from the floral institute in Portland. She studied fine arts at the University of Montana and is very passionate about integrating floral arrangements into any event possible. She has worked as a bartender for over a decade, under which time she has been certified to serve alcohol responsibly and ethically. Michelle is a Certified Wedding Planner (CWP) through the Association of Bridal Consultants and has also helped plan and coordinate large events. She attended Culinary School in Missoula, MT and has worked in the catering and personal chef industry for a number of years. She has an eye for detail and organization and years of customer service experience.
