My huge thanks to all who joined Rob and me at our Disco Inferno event last night and who danced non-stop from the off - what a fabulous night it was. It is so rewarding to know that there are so many of you who appreciate the music from clubland of the 1970s and 1980s. We had a long list of requests which I think we managed to get played which made for a wide variety of musical styles too. Look out for the photos and videos! We still have three events to come in 2023, Rob’s Northern Soul night on Saturday 2nd December, our Motown Memories Christmas Party on Saturday 23rd December and of course, this year’s New Year’s Eve Disco Inferno on Sunday 31st. New Year’s Eve is the only night of the year where tickets are sold in advance – so make sure of yours. They can be bought at our next two events and from the venue, Winton & Moordown Royal British Legion, during the club’s opening hours. As we have done every year before, we will be providing a free buffet and there will be an extra room open to make sure full seating is available.

Feeling a bit naughty this morning as I stayed in bed longer than usual after an exhausting but fun-filled night at Winton & Moordown Royal British Legion. So, I’m a bit late with my thanks to everyone who joined Rob and me for Motown Memories & 60s & 70s Solid Gold Soul. Thanks to all who joined us for generating a warm and friendly atmosphere while dancing your socks off for up to five hours! Thanks to a variety of requests, Rob and I got to play a lot of tunes not heard for many a month together with all your regular favourites, and it was a joy to see everyone having a good time. I know we will only have time for about 100 of these but I guarantee they will be the best classic disco, soul and funk trax from the 1970s dancefloor decade. So...
