We are eagerly awaiting our opening day to the public in February 2024 (due to a current project updating the space taking much longer than projected)!
In the meantime, we are super excited to announce our "Give to the community" contest where we are giving away a free event rental in the private event space for 3 different groups!
Dan and I (Sarah) are always big advocates of the community and taking care of others. The winners will receive the private event space at no charge to host an event of choice- whether that be a fundraiser, wedding, private party, end-of-season banquet, or any other reason to celebrate!
Please nominate a person/couple/group or submit for yourself- no limit to who may enter but must fall under one of 3 categories:
-5013c Non-Profit
-Social event for person(s) that has experienced a hardship (does not need to be non profit and can be for a wedding, birthday, retirement, graduation, benefit, fundraiser, etc...)
-Wedding Couple that deserves it (does not need to be as a result of a hardship- this couple just does what they need and deserves a reason to celebrate their wedding day!)

All entries MUST be submitted by 11:59pm on Monday, January 15, 2024 to be considered.
The winner of the Non-profit group will be determined by the public by Facebook voting and announced on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
Winners of the other 2 categories will be determined by The Purple Pelican & The Dock House.

There is no limit to who may enter but all winners must adhere, agree, and sign the standard rental contract of The Dock House.
Winners must hold event between June 2024-December 2025. Event may not be held on a Friday/Saturday in June-September 2024/2025.
All bar services are to be through Revel Events DBA The Purple Pelican.
All food service is to be through Revel Events DBA The Purple Pelican or approved caterer of your choice.
Previously booked events are not eligible.

All submissions should be directed to [email protected] and include the following:
1. Name of person(s) or group
2. The Category of entry
3. Why he/she/they should win (include as much detail as you would like without compromising the privacy and respect of the individual/group)

Super excited for this fun night! Please join us at The Purple Pelican!

We are so excited for this one! One of our most loved holiday movies (that we watch year-round!) is coming to life at The Purple Pelican and Tiki Beach Resort on Kettle Moraine Lake: Tiki Bar, Restaurant, Campground on Saturday, December 16!
(We can't say the name of the movie- you know..legal stuff...but if you are a fan- the pic and the title should give it away!)

We are starting the night off with the Hap-Hap-Happiest Christmas Dinner at 6:30pm and then starting the Dance Party fun with DJ Chippy of Sound Love Audio DJ Entertainment & Uplighting from 8pm-Midnight (check him out- he's fabulous!)

Join us for dinner or join us for just the dance party!

Tickets for dinner are $35/each and include the dance party
(Buffet of Turkey, Sirloin Tips, Mashed potatoes, Sweet Corn, Green Beans, Rolls & Butter, a certain aunts lime green Jello mold, and dessert!)

Tickets for Dance Party only are $10.
(Drink Specials- Limited Kitchen menu 8p-10p), and prizes for Best Costume themed to the movie awarded!)

Whew- this past month just flew!

We wanted to share what we have been up to as we are moving along as expected.

Painting...LOTS of painting! What a difference in the space already! Check out the "before" pic and what it looks like as of today! 🎨

Most things are completed in the main area in regard to paint and restrooms have been freshly painted, too.

We are not done yet - things to do include~

-install crystal chandeliers in main space and ladies restrooms
-install new chandelier in men's restroom
-replace all recessed lighting with energy efficient lights that can adjust to type of light (soft, clean white, soft white, etc...)
-paint Northern wall of venue and add ?? - it's a surprise :)
-finalize the restaurant menu
-finalize the catering options for private events
-finalize new beverage menus
-soft opening with the restaurant menu
-Grand opening

While it seems like there's much to to, and there is, it will get done quickly!

Tours of the event space for private events are happening now! Weddings, holiday parties, graduations, corporate events, baby/bridal showers, and more!

(To clear up any confusion, The Dock House is the name of the private venue space, and The Purple Pelican is the name of the new restaurant. )

Progress is moving along nicely with the updates to the inside of the event space. The walls have been revived with fresh coats of paint, new lighting going in soon, and more updates, too!
We are getting closer to showing you what we've been up to!
In the meantime, we have been busy getting our space ready for YOU and creating in-house events to enjoy with friends and family.

First announcement- in conjunction with The Purple Pelican and Tiki Beach Resort on Kettle Moraine Lake: Tiki Bar, Restaurant, Campground

Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 9, 2023!
We have 3 seatings scheduled- 9am, 10:30am, and Noon.
Tickets MUST be purchased in advance- no walk-ins/no sales at the door. Everyone MUST have a ticket. Kiddos ages 3 and under FREE!
