Our booth at the Collective at the Vintage Cafe in downtown Colborne features decor, fashion and accessories and most are "upscale resale" to promote sustainability.

We have ladies dress shoes in gold, silver and black 👠as well as a number of pretty purses 👝 👛👜, earrings and necklaces and decor items for seasonal festivities!

At the Collective at the Vintage Cafe you will find everything from fresh flowers to delicious baking and lattes to wonderful gift ideas 🍪☕🧁💐.

The shop will be open late on November 25 for the Colborne Santa Claus Parade as well as December 1 and December 8 for evening shopping.

It’s time to celebrate 🎄

If you’re attending a wedding or event this season and looking for a pair of new to you shoes or a sparkly purse, stop by our booth at the Vintage Cafe in downtown Colborne and see our selection of fashion accessories and décor items for the Christmas season 👠👛.

New at our booth this week will be gold decorative charger plates, cloth napkins to rent and crystal glasses for centrepieces.

Fall at The Collective at Vintage Cafe 🍂

If you haven't visited the shop lately, be sure to stop by and see what's new.

New at our booth this week is a beautiful floral tiara with matching tiny bouquet ... perfect for an outdoor garden wedding!

Also new is a classic black dress in a larger size which is perfect for upcycling. We have a nice selection of hand bags, dress shoes and jewelry that promote a sustainable way to shop for your wedding 👠👗👝👛.

The Collective at Vintage Cafe also features local small businesses that create wonderful works of art, home decor, jewelry, beauty items, sustainable cleaning products and fresh flowers 💐🎁🖼🧸💍.

The shop hours are changing too and will be open 6 days a week ... Tuesday to Sunday!

We buy 60% more clothing than we did 20 years ago and we keep it half as long?

When you have an item of clothing that you no longer need or want, please consider donating it to one of our local thrift stores where proceeds go back to our community. This helps keep them from going to landfills while helping community groups, schools etc. 👕🧥🥾

At Something Old Something New, we offer items that were previously enjoyed at other weddings, are available at reasonable prices and prevents them from ending up in landfills

Visit our booth at the Collective at Vintage Café where you can see our selection of wedding items and our “mini catalogue” of bridal gowns and formal wear.

Welcome!

Weddings are such a wonderful time … the planning and the day itself but what to do with your wedding treasures once you have said I do?

I had an idea how to help plan a special day while also making a difference in the world.

Something old something new was created to offer a sustainable, affordable option to shop for bridal items of fashion, accessories and décor so that they won't end up in landfills.

My mission is to plant a tree for each bridal gown that is sold and my goal is 100 trees.
