Meet Angela!
Angela is our newest team member at Megan Eilleen Events, and she has brought us so much joy and laughter! Her first wedding with our team was in July 2017, and you would’ve thought she’s been with us from beginning. She thinks five steps ahead, moves at the speed of light and has the heart to do everything and anything behind the scenes!
Joining us at the most perfect time, she has brought such peace to the team and a desire to take MEE to the next level! We are so thankful for her willingness and gift to coordinate, bring life to our events and be such a vital support to myself and Julie!
A little about Angela... her favorite wedding dessert is chocolate cake (unlike myself), her favorite color is green (like Julie), she loves to sleep in and spent time with her husband on a wide open Saturday. She enjoys interior decorating, shopping and spending time outdoors, and unlike the rest of Team MEE, she doesn’t like coffee (what?!).
When asked what Angela’s favorite MEE memory is, she said “Running with three flowers girls through the Botanical Gardens in 100 degree weather to get to the ceremony just in time for them to walk down the aisle.” This was at Tanessa & Sean’s gorgeous garden wedding in Sept 2017, and clearly we couldn’t have pulled it off without her!
So grateful to have this little one on the team! 💕

Meet Julie!
Julie has been with Megan Eilleen Events since our very first wedding in 2015! She offered up her creative ideas, helping hands and spray glue techniques, and I didn’t think twice - the answer was yes, yes and yes!
Julie has been my main go-to for three years now, bringing the perfect amount of sweetness and s***k to the team! We started offering our help with decor and day of coordination to co-workers and friends, and now we have taken on out of town clients by word of mouth, and our team is even being referred by vendors! We make quite the duo as I’ve started this business with Julie assisting and supporting me every step of the way!
Regardless of the type of event, Julie always makes friends with our clients within minutes of meeting them. And you can bet you’ll find her on the dance floor of every wedding by the end of the night! She truly embraces every event as if it were her own, and every challenge with a smile on her face.
Some random facts about Julie... her favorite color is lime green, she is a beast at CrossFit and loves to scrapbook, volunteer and spend time with her family and friends. Her favorite memory with Team MEE is when she was the ever-so-important es**rt of “Louie” (the Blues mascot) at one of our amazingly fun weddings in March 2017! And who would’ve known, she totally admits to her favorite part of a wedding day is when she is dancing at the reception 💃🏼

Meet Megan, founder and owner of Megan Eilleen Events!
Back in 2013, she began helping with events at her church, and eventually took on her first wedding. This wedding brought out a passion for design, coordination and florals she didn’t even know was in her, yet those she was surrounded by saw it as a gift, effortlessly being expressed. Over the next two years, God continued to develop that gift and she decided to officially step into the event business.
“I launched Megan Eilleen Events on a whim as I was encouraged to have a place where clients could reference my work. What I didn’t know was where God wanted to take it. Though it’s still a side gig for me, as of the beginning of 2018, it’s so much more than that regardless of how much time I spend doing it.
As much as I love the checklists, heavy-lifting and being the go-to girl in the heat of the moment, I absolutely love the look on the faces of my clients at the end of the day. To me, it’s not about the time put into it, but the heart and purpose behind why we do what we do. Relieving the pressure and stress of our clients, giving them the chance to fully be present and enjoy their day.”
It’s Team MEE’s desire to create beautiful, blissful days that will always be remembered. Every smile, every laugh, every tear, every moment. “I’m very thankful for every opportunity my team has to do this for those entrusted to us” says Megan.
Some random facts about Megan... her favorite color is pink and favorite movie is Titanic. Favorite wedding tradition is the father-daughter dance. She absolutely loves cake but is not a chocolate-lover whatsoever. She loves to clean more than any human-being on the planet, and football Sundays are her favorite days. 🏈

Team MEE was at this stunningly beautiful venue last night after the couple's ceremony at the Botanical Gardens. The bride did an AMAZING job picking out the decor for this space, and it was the perfect night for some rooftop dancing!

But looking back on moments like this - turning the room into a "garden" and piecing together of flowers to accentuate the arbor - helps you to remember the small details, the special things we do to make each day beautiful.

Boutonnières from our June 5th wedding at Silver Oaks Chateau. A unique French venue with the wedding's design being an elegant rustic, the boutonnières had pittosporum, bouvardia and a hint of lavender!

The bride, maid of honor and flower girl bouquets from our August 20th wedding at Klondike Park.

The bride wore a stunning ivory lace dress with a shade of blush peeking through, while the maid of honor wore a light lavender and the flower girl was in blush.

These bouquets had the perfect pops of color from the roses and delphinium, and the calla lilies added the most perfect touch to make them unique.

The 2016 wedding season is just days away, and reflecting on all the weddings of 2015, I'm beyond grateful and can't wait for this season to begin! So many new challenges and opportunities that I will keep you all updated on.
