…Essaouira is often overlooked when travelers think of Morocco. It’s great for the adventurous / active set, and easily paired with a visit to Marrakech / Fez / the Atlas Mountains for a well-rounded trip 🇲🇦

Lana’i in general does not feel like Hawaii - for starters, it’s the smallest inhabited island of the set, has more pines than palms, and is marked by red dirt roads and scrubby brush. Pair this terrain with the new wellness-centered concept - - and you’ve got an incredibly special place.
The new(ish) is the place to go if you’re one of many who has faced work-from-home burnout. Wellness comes first here - every guest has a personalized program designed to meet their needs.
There’s an outdoor rain forest shower, a (tasteful) jungle canopy zip line course, private plunge pools, and of course a full spa. Dining is handled by .us

is a stunner - new on the scene in Texas Big Bend country. For those of you who want a real, unplugged adventure, this is your next trip. It’s a very long (but wild and fascinating) drive from Austin & San Antonio, or you can always fly into Midland/Odessa & rent a car.

We visited Big Bend a few years prior to Willow House’s opening, and there was no shortage of authentic places to stay & visit (that are still musts if you make the trip).

is a wellness-minded resort right in Water Mill, ideal for those who want to reset over a long weekend stay.
The house is currently open for guests and has modified its spa program to safely serve guests. The best part - their fantastic saltwater pools and facials are still available 🌿

Research for a last minute winter getaway...does it get any cooler than this?
The Fogo Island Inn: 29 guest rooms with dramatic views of Newfoundland’s rugged coast. The property is tough to get to 3 flights + a drive + a ferry, they’re not lying when they say it’s at the corner of the world.
Because of its exposure, Fogo Island experiences 7 different seasons.
From March to June, the inn offers a front-row seat to massive icebergs heading down from Greenland.
In the summer season from June to August, visitors can go whale-watching and fishing on boats, and catch the beginning of berry season.

Luxury trips don’t have to cost a fortune, if you know where and when to book 🌟
1. Book through a travel advisor. Even if you already know where you want to go, advisors have access to the best rates and can provide amenities like upgrades, spa/dining credits, early check-in/late check-out, etc at no extra cost🌟
2. Choose your timing wisely. For example, if you want to visit the Amalfi Coast in June/July/August, you will pay up to 4x what you might in May or September/October 🌟
3. Be open to alternatives. Ischia, for example, is a 1 hour boat ride from the Amalfi Coast. Lesser-known, and arguably more authentic. And home to one of our favorites 🌟

📍Spectacle Island, Nova Scotia - a private summer retreat for couples and small groups in treasured Mahone Bay.
