In 2009 a select group of curious, charitable and creative creatures came together to put on a series of spectacular events in aid of charity. We created an array of experiential and engaging nights to raise money and awareness for some amazing charities. A decade later we have focused our skills into supporting both corporate and charitable organisations, using our expert event knowledge to help

you source, create and deliver memorable events. Our services include;

- Venue Sourcing

- Supplier Recommendations

- Contract Negotiation

- Event Management and Engagement

- Event Marketing

- Business Planning and Training Consultation

The events industry contributes £70 billion to the economy per year and employs over a million highly skilled workers across sports, live events, venue hire, exhibitions, meetings, production, lighting, florists, caterers and many, many others.

Approximately 95% of events have been cancelled due to COVID-19 with over 166k people having been made redundant with thousands of others losing their contract roles to whole companies going under in this industry. Sadly this is just the tip off the metaphorical iceberg as the furlough is set to end next month with no further contingencies in place to support businesses that cannot survive on events for only up to 30 guests.

is simply asking for clarity and support from the government before our entire industry collapses. This is a red alert 🚨 please like, share and head to https://www.wemakeevents.com/uk/ to learn more.

Delighted to share my new logo today courtsey of who helped to create the design and made it into a nifty 🌱 eco-friendly stamp. Like many of my tools and materials, I try to get them from small businesses and has been one of the best ways of finding just what I need.

Here's to new discoveries and freshening things up 🥳

Made another thing... this time a belt bag for the beautiful birthday gal 💗💅👛

It took two attempts to get the pattern and materials right, pretty pleased with the final outcome. In the end I used a pink metallic synthetic leather with a contrasting navy and rose patterned cotton lining, which I've had for years! Added two mini inner pockets and a magnetic button clasp to keep things nice and secure... perfect for birthday raves 🥳🎉🎁🍾🎂

(Gorgeousness and sunflowers: models own 😘 )

🌊"I started early, took my dog
And visited the sea
The mermaids in the basement
Came out to look at me

And frigates in the upper floor
Extended hempen hands
Presuming me to be a mouse
Aground, upon the sands

But no man moved me till the tide
Went past my simple shoe
And past my apron and my belt
And past my bodice too

And made as he would eat me up
As wholly as a dew
Upon a dandelion's sleeve
And then I started too

And he — he followed close behind
I felt his silver heel
Upon my ankle, — then my shoes
Would overflow with pearl

Until we met the solid town
No man he seemed to know
And bowing with a mighty look
At me, the sea withdrew"🐚🧜‍♀️

'The Sea' by Emily Dickinson

Playing around with brush strokes led to the sea. Didn't know what I was going to create when I started, I was just enjoying going with the flow, the depths of the colours and practising my bubbles. Next I will work on my penmanship... watch this space.

Inspired by home.

For Father's Day I created this pop card of the Lighthouse. It was my first time creating such a pop up card and it was really rewarding figuring out how to create the different levels to make it all work.

So whilst my Ballycotton family might be far away, they're still very much in my heart and head, ready to hug them all through creative ways 🎨👩‍🎨 🤲💜🌊🇮🇪🍀

Very happy with how this little beauty turned out. My imagination has been reminiscing about the solace of a warm midsummer night out with a cocktail in hand.

🥰🥂🌅💅👩‍🎨🌻🍸🌌🌈🕶🎨

Swipe right to see the process and close up video for the details.

Watercolour painting on cold pressed cotton paper, ink outline with cutouts and a silver star for some sparkle.

Experiments in watercolour with soft pastels, charcoal and masking fluid 🎨

Being creative in these isolating times is a nice escape via my imagination. Its helpful to journal the different techniques and effects as I build towards more in depth pieces.

Comment with links to your work - I'd love to see what everyone has been up to!

Sometimes new can come from simple and effective reinventions of a classic...

Here's a throwback to an amazing reception, tour and dinner at the Tower of London we sourced and managed. My client was using the venue for two different events, only a month apart (!), so wanted to keep things fresh each time. Thanks to the support from these wonderful suppliers we were able to achieve just that, as captured in this beautiful photo of the Yeomen Warders by

Our Story

Creatures of the Night was originally set up to create immersive fundraising events in aid of a variety of worthy causes. We donated, shared and celebrated the incredible work by the: Irish Youth Foundation, Diana Award, Dyslexia Action, St Christopher’s Hospice and Bloodwise (formerly Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research).

Our founder’s (Kit Gallagher) event experience reaches across a variety of arts, catering and charitable organisations, where she has warranted successful event engagement, marketing and increased revenue streams through commercial and private events. Venues and organisations include; Events @ No 6, the Royal College of Pathologists, the Alzhemier’s Society, the National Gallery, BAFTA 195, Swingers Crazy Golf, IWM London and the Museum of London.

We have taken our curious, charitable and creative creatures ethos and combined it with our founder’s event knowledge and expertise to make Creatures of the Night what it is today - a professional, warm and creative event service.
