I am blown away by the response to my announcement this morning. It's great that so many people love the idea of the DIY consultant. This is Susan with Kaufman's Flowers. I am excited to announce that Kaufman's Flowers has been sold. I have had this business for 10 years and it's been a labor of love. I enjoyed meeting all the people I did and having such loyal customers. I have made friends and learned so much more than I ever dreamed I would. I have come to a time in my life where I want more time for family and friends. This business has consumed my life for a long time and I am excited that I will be able to have more time to enjoy life now. I will still be doing the flower work I love but I will be working for the new owner and Collin's Creations, Flowers and Gifts. Collin's Creations will be locating the retail store in Columbus Grove only but will still be serving all the areas in and around Waynesfield for deliveries. We hope that my customers in the Waynesfield store area continue to call Collin's Creations for their floral needs. The same phone number will work, 419-568-9461 and the same website will work www.kbgardens.com. The website will be expanded to include hundreds more gift items as well as flowers. OMGOSH! I so could have written this! And also I want to add that I am answering 3 phone lines and PLEASE if you are sent to leave a message, please leave a message. I usually call back within 15 minutes. Had this happen yesterday, I was on the one phone with another customer and so she left a message and I tried to call her back within 2 minutes but her line was busy for 15 minutes. When I finally got through she told me that she called another florist because she couldn't reach me. UGH. I was crushed. Often times, small business owners NEED your business but don't have employees to cover for them every second they can't be where they need to be.

Our Story

I am a professional florist free lancer. I do not own a physical location but still enjoy floral design. I previously owned my own floral shops for over 10 years. I have a broad range of experience and can be hired as needed. I will do some deliveries but same day order and delivery will not usually be available. However, if you have several days advanced notice, I can create your vision beautifully.

I will work for your floral shop by the hour and by quote when you need extra help. You don’t have to add me to payroll, pay insurance, or payroll taxes! Hire as needed in advance or in an emergency.

I will do small weddings that require a few items, a few bouquets, a few corsages, a few bouts, etc. I also will do classes and groups who might want to diy their own flowers for events. Have a wedding coming up? I will meet you all in your location and help you to make your own flowers. You supply the product and supplies and I will supply the techniques. Save money on expensive wedding flowers by doing it yourself with my help.

I will also do select projects for general public consumers by quote. Looking for a permanent botanical arrangement for your home decor? Looking for a special custom gift made for someone? A wreath, the perfect arrangement for that table or self? Contact me!
