I started off getting to know this couple because my business partner and I photographed their wedding...then we photographed the birth of their first child and newborn. I then continued to photographed their family, maternity of their 2nd, birth of their 2nd, and now newborn photos of their 2nd! I'm happy to say that it brings me so much joy to be welcomed into someone's life in the most beautiful and intimate moments. To have captured the moments that go by so quickly but to give them images that will last a lifetime is truly an honor! This family is a blast to photograph...not only are their children adorable...but they literally run up to me when I arrive at the session.. all of them SO excited to take pictures! And on top of us having so much fun during the session, it made my heart melt when we were done to have the youngest hold her arms out for me to carry her to the car! There has been so much rain this August & September!! We already had to reschedule this session once due to rain...and we ended the session just in time before it started to pour! Glad we were able to get some fun images of this 5 year old!

Oh my..these boys! I love love photographing these brothers! In addition to the beautiful evening on the Sakatah Trail, we were able to take photos down by a pond behind their house which makes for great memories! These boys both have such fun personalities that made photographing them a breeze. I laughed so hard during this session and giggled throughout editing at all their adorable and funny faces. While we had a lot of fun, it was so sweet to see such a strong brotherhood bond at a young age...I'm sure their mama knows these two will be best buds growing up!

Good thing we snuck this last minute maternity session in last week...this gorgeous mama and her husband welcomed their sweet baby girl into the world earlier this week! The evening was absolutely perfect for their session minus the swarm of mosquitos! I absolutely loved all their images from the session that it was hard to share only a few. Lexi is just glowing with her beautiful baby bump and I am so excited for them to now be holding their precious daughter!

I absolutely love newborns! I'm not sure what I love more..photographing them..or the sweet snuggles! Both are fabulous! This little sweet heart came to my studio last week and is so loved by her parents! Enjoy this little sneak peak of this adorable family!

Weston is 6 months old and one handsome little boy! My wedding business partner and I photographed his mommy and daddy's engagements, wedding, maternity, and we were even there to photograph the day he was welcomed into the world! How wonderful it has been to get to know his parents and to watch their life grow and now be filled with so much joy with this little guy! I will have to say that I have been photographing a lot of boys lately and enjoyed some girl company with little Jude coming to visit me! How beautiful is she?! I couldn't get over her beautiful blue eyes. 6 month sessions are some of my favorite. By 6 months old, they have become more interactive and they have the best facial expressions! I can't wait to share the rest of them with her mommy and daddy! Happy Monday and enjoy!

Israel turned 1! What better way to celebrate then with some photos! yay! He is so fun...most of the session was full of smiles..but there were moments he did not want me trying to make him smile. I got the biggest kick out of him telling me no with his scrunched up face, pointing his finger, and grumbling at me...hehe. I photographed him at about 6 months old and it is so fun to see how he has grown into such a little toddler. I am experiencing this with my own baby right now. They hit that 1st birthday and for some reason....they are ready to take on the world as a TODDLER! I swear it happens overnight. One minute you are snuggling your sweet baby and the next, they are an independent toddler who wants to do everything themselves but doesn't know how to communicate that other than grunts, shrieks, and pointing. And of course...as parents you are always supposed to know what all of that means!! HA! Welcome to being a toddler Israel..I'm sure your brother and sister will be giving you many pointers along the way! As for now though...you are still your mommy's little baby!

This is another maternity session that was done quite a few months ago! I love looking back on these images! It was such a beautiful night and this was my first time meeting this couple. A few months later and I get to see them again for the newborn session. They welcomed their little boy Bennett into the world...and is he ever precious! It's so neat for me to watch a family grow from 2 to 3,to 4, to 5....and so on!! Having a baby changes a couple and brings so much more love and joy into a relationship. Sure...there may be many midnight/early morning feedings and very tired moments...but, babies are a wonderful blessing and so worth it!
