Ok I’m going to be quite honest on here for a moment. It takes quite a lot of guts to be open on social media so I hope you understand it comes from a good place.
•
Instagram has been a wonderful place for me over lockdown in many ways.
Ive been able to do my live IG with some fantastic people from various industries.
Some of whom I’ve met via Instagram and hope to stay connected with long after lockdown.
I’ve also managed to throw myself completely at my flower business.
•
On the downside though, I must say I’m surprised at some people’s behaviour. It’s just my observation.
I follow and support lots of everyday empowering women and creative businesses, who represent courage, confidence, and support, yet I somehow find myself approaching these people and a few times my messages are seen and not replied to.
Just to add my messages are professional not overly casual.
•
I understand people are busy.
Maybe they don’t know how to respond?
Maybe they think they’re more important than me?
Maybe it’s because they just don’t want to?
It feels a bit like some people are quite hypocritical, appearing one way yet behave another.
•
I thought we were all about acts of kindness and trying to be nicer to one another.
If anyone approached me for a collaboration and I kindly declined, I would do just that.
•
Does anyone else sometimes struggle with the communication and approaching of others over social media?
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Enjoy the sunshine everyone
