At the the heart of this EP is `Perlen vor die Säue´ by PANTERNOISE, a haunting and evocative piece of industrial art, rooted in both nostalgia and innovation. Built around the eerie sample of a 1990s telephone message—the kind you’d hear when dialing a non-existent number—the track transforms a mundane fragment of the past into a profound and unsettling sonic experience. These fragments of lost communication serve as a metaphor for modern alienation, where meaningful connections are increasingly rare in a world consumed by noise, miscommunication, and superficial interactions. The opening moments of the track immerse the listener in an otherworldly soundscape, where atmospheric drones and metallic textures echo through a void, evoking the disconnection and mystery of a misdialed call.
