I have been teaching ballroom since 1993 and am a USTA, NDCA and NADTA Professional certified as Highly Commended by the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (USISTD). My specialty is working with beginning dancers and weddi
ng couples. I also continue to take lessons and coaching on a weekly basis and have always believed one should never stop learning. So I have made it a point to continue my learning and stay on top of the current trends and techniques. My specialty is working with beginning students and wedding couples. I enjoy the newness that they bring to dance. The feelings of uncertainty turn to those moments when things start to click and it becomes easy. It's a very exciting time to watch the world open up before them. Most of my teaching is done through area community centers and groups but I am also available for private and group lessons that you may want to set up for your own event. VIRTUAL CLASS!!!! Move Like a Champion and Jive
Tuesday, March 17th, 7-7:30pm
I’ll start the class tonight with part of the Move Like a Champion program. It’s an excellent program that I’ve used for several years and is an entire selection of about 60 different exercises to help you learn more about how your body moves as well as to change the quality of your movement. I’ll start us out with four simple exercises tonight that you can explore throughout your week. Some of the exercises are done seated or even laying down so you may want to explore those later after you see the demo of them. Then we’ll start to work on some basic Jive tonight concentrating on footwork and technique in the basic steps. You will not need to have a partner for either or these thing or even a large amount of space. Should be able to do everything in front of your computer or cell phone.
This will be a free will program. I realize we’re all in different situations financially and with the uncertainty of the coming days, weeks and hopefully not too many months things are in a lot of flux. So, if you would like to make a contribution it would be much appreciated - you can drop a check in the mail or can use a link I have on my Square site.

Quick update on classes tonight. I’ve done something to my knee and have been hobbling around for the last couple days. I’m scheduled to get in to have it checked out but can’t get in until Friday.
