Anyone craving BBQ for the Big Game in a couple weeks? We still have availability. We will drop off food on 2/9 for a small gathering to a larger one! Menu offerings for 2/9 below

MEATS
- Pulled pork - $60 per pork butt - pulled and sauced
(includes enough meat for 12-15 sandwiches, 12 buns, squeeze bottle of extra BBQ sauce)

- Beef brisket - $100
(Whole brisket including slices and burnt ends - enough meat for 8-10 people)

- Chicken thighs - $48
(Includes 24 thighs, enough for 12 people)

- Pork ribs - $24 per rack
(spare or baby back)

Local friends, Allen is competing in this BBQ competition (link below) under the team name "Quewedo" which is the branch of his business selling custom built smokers - set up is Friday night and cooking/competition is overnight into Saturday.
- If you want to hang out with us Fri evening we welcome the company- just bring a chair. Let us know if you plan on coming so we can have snacks for folks.
- If you want to come out Saturday (also bring a chair) - we will be up and around early then busy with turn-ins from 12 to 1:30 but there will be a most heavenly smell in the air and left over competition meat to sample. Then we will be hanging out until 4pm when awards are handed out.

We’re finally back home and unpacked. We had an awesome weekend overall! This was our first cookoff competiton and the first with our new smoker that I designed and built. I made some mistakes that definitely hurt us in the end, but they are correctable and will make us better moving forward. It took a lot of preparation and hard work to get the trailer and recipes ready for this weekend and I’d like to mention a few of the people that made this possible. First off, my son Anthony Shealy for giving up three weeks of his summer vacation to make repairs and upgrades to the trailer and keeping me on track and taking over when I was having a rough day. I enjoyed spending time with him and seeing him learn new things that will hopefully help him in the future. I love you buddy. Next is my friend Tony Destro; thank you for letting me raid your shop for steel and allowing me to bounce a few ideas off of you. If you need any welding or fabrication for any upcoming project, his company, Medina County Welding can certainly take care of all your welding or plasma cutting needs. You can’t be successful in competition BBQ without the best meats available. I’m fortunate enough to have Mister Brisket (Misterbrisket.com) half an hour from me to supply Imperial Waygu briskets, Wichita Packing pork collars and ribs and Springer Mountain Farms chicken thighs. He ships to competition teams and backyard chefs nationwide and can take your BBQ to the next level. I also have to thank my parents Tim Shealy and Frances Shealy for all of their hard work and making sure we got into this contest to start with. It was also nice to have so many friends and relatives come out and spend some time with us. It was great to see y’all again.

We made it! Out of approx 100 teams including multiple national award winners, highlights of the day were winning award for the highest scoring team from Greenwood County (registered under Allen's dad who lives in Greenwood) and 14th in pork among all 100 teams! Averaged top half overall and learned a lot to get ready for our next contest in Sept!
Update: Allen's truck didn't make it. Transmission leak they're trying to fix so they can come home tomorrow.

All 4 categories of meat have been turned in! Look at the smoke ring! I wish I had smell-o-vision. Now the waiting game until the 5pm awards ceremony begins!

Guess who's getting back into the competiton BBQ game! Allen and Anthony along with Allen's parents and nephews are competing this weekend in Greenwood, SC at the SC Festival of Discovery. They go armed with the best equipment - the BBQ trailer and smoker BOTH built by Allen himself - and new and improved competition recipes! 100 teams including some nationally top ranked teams are there so it'll be a challenge but they're ready! He has won the pork category before!

Local friends, we are also competing in Wadsworth in Sept.

Don't worry - we are still available for catering.

And coming soon, food truck/trailer time!
