What do you need to know when inquiring?!? Let’s get you set up for success!!!! Answer below! 🤍

1. Budget! We know it’s tricky and your budget may even change as the wedding evolves! Be honest and realistic and if it grows we can always add on things later!
2. The vision! Colors, style, and general picture of how you see your day looking! Enjoy pinteresting ideas but remember the more flowers you see the more $$ it can cost! But we will help suggest and adjust according to your budget and wants!
3. General numbers! Rough table estimates, wedding party numbers, anything we need multiples of we need a loose idea of how many of what! Again we can always add on! This just gives us a jumping off point!
4. Photos! The more the better! It helps me see your vision without having to describe everything! There’s already a lot to communicate when planning a wedding! Sometimes photos can tell me more than any amount of words!
5. EXCITEMENT! Why?! BECAUSE YOU ARE FINALLY PLANNING YOUR WEDDING AND ITS THE BEST TIME! It’s a lot and scary sometimes feeling out of your element or knowing little about specific flowers but that’s my job to help fill the gaps and create magic! So let’s have fun and do this flower thing!

MEET PEPE!!! (that’s what we are calling him for now lol) Pepe wondered in our backyard last Friday and was startled to meet 5 other big dogs! He is looking for his forever home! He likes people, just a little nervous at first but warms up! Not the biggest fan of big dogs, but he loves peanut! He is a lap dog who loves a fuzzy blanket and never wants to move! We think he’s 5/6/7 but who knows! Male Chihuahua who just wants to nap peacefully and if you know our house it’s almost impossible without someone wanting to play! The shelter believes he was dumped so we aren’t sure what his previous life was like but if you’re looking for the chillest pup to hang with, you should meet this little ham!

Please share so we can find him a home!

YEAR 4 WITH MR. F.LORI.SH!!!! Happy anniversary my heart! 💗 We pretty much exclusively work through our anniversary every year (because wedding season) but this man always selflessly serves along side me with no complaints and makes this whole operation possible. But this is why we do it! We know the value of marriage! We know that it’s more than a wedding, it’s the start of your life! So here is 4 things I would have told myself on this day 4 years ago!…
1. Things are going to fall apart and go wrong today, but it doesn’t matter because the man you’re marrying will spend every day making sure you wake up feeling loved, supported, cared for, and that’s more than enough! (If you haven’t heard all our wedding day mishaps I promise it’ll make you feel so much better lol)
2. Enjoy the slow moments! So often we want to go so fast but now looking at all the pictures it’s crazy to think we are having a baby, bought a house, run a fun business, and so much more in such a short time! Pause and remember to just enjoy the little moments you’re in!
3. Never stop having fun! There is no one in life I can have more fun with than ! So often we find ourselves in what could be tense situation and somehow we come out laughing, singing, and dancing! Don’t take life too seriously! It’s short, it’s CHAOS, it’s nothing you can control! We are a team! So whatever problem hits I know we got this!
4. WITHOUT JESUS NONE OF THIS WOULD BE POSSIBLE! Sure would we be married and surviving? Maybe honest probably not tho since we met on a church choir / mission trip !! But seriously, to know Jesus is to know grace and forgiveness. I look at our marriage and see nothing but grace and mercy sprinkled in as we navigate two personalities from different homes and families trying to live under one roof! So often we rush to win or to prove our point but Jesus reminds us to be equal partners in this journey, lean into the rolls and talents he gave us, share in life’s ups and downs, and to love unconditionally and FORGIVE always!

Two equal partners working together with the gifts + strengths + specialized roles God created us for! It’s putting aside our own selfish wants and desires, pushing past pride, and learning to respect and encourage one another to f.lori.sh in Gods plan!

Who you surround yourself with matters! My favorite story that embodies friendship in the Bible is in Mark 2 and Luke 5: basically one of the friends was paralyzed and they had heard of Jesus healing people but when they got to where Jesus was in this house it was so crowded there was no way they would squeeze in with their friend on a mat… they could have walked away and no hard feelings. I know I feel that way asking for help sometimes, but these men didn’t give up. Instead they made a way and lowered their friend from the roof to in front of Jesus and Jesus healed him because of their faith!!! Funny enough this upset the religious leaders, but without those friends that man would have lived out the rest of his days paralyzed soooo…..!!! I hope you have those people that when you can’t go any further, they bring you back to Jesus. I hope you are that friend to those around you! Life is HARD and we all need a little help sometimes! So surround yourself with those speak life, carry you when you’re broken, don’t what it takes to help no matter what it looks like to outsiders, meet needs when you can’t! True community is beautiful 🫶🏼🤍🥹

SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR! If you know me, I am terrible at posting and responding. So I’m extra thankful for all the people around me who have patience in my business and allow me to still enjoy all the blessings life throws our way!

This last year has been a lot of growth, learning points, and exhaustion! It’s been such a DREAM being a part of so many days and I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world… but same time I miss having a personal life! I work out of my home so it’s constant flowers in the home with maybe 1 day of recovery followed by the next! We worked from September- 2nd week of November with no breaks (meaning every day of the week I was working either physically on flowers or on my computer putting in orders, quotes, meetings, or all the other fun things I get to do) and I tell myself all the time and other day it too - I need to slow down.

So next year we are taking on a little less and finding a balance to be with friends and family! To give our brides a better version of what we can do and how we can serve like Jesus!!! Life is so short we don’t want to work it away! And also want to do it all as best we can for Jesus!

With that said we are still booking 2024 but will have limited availability in order to give YOU THE BRIDE the best of .lori.sh 🤍 if you’ve already reached out and are waiting to hear back, we are getting back to you all soon!!! Can’t wait to soak up all this holiday season has to bring and jump into the new year refreshed for our 2024 brides!

My house has been looking like the rainbow lately with all these colorful weddings, which I like to believe is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and love! After the flood always comes the rainbow! 2023 has been our busiest year to date, which comes with growing pains and challenges BUT the overwhelming blessings that keep pouring in are never ending! A glimpse at the real reason we do what we do here: MARRIAGE!

Weddings are FUN! Many dream of this day for year! Pinterest boards have been in the works for longer than we can remember, and it is so easy to get caught up in the planning that we forget the whole purpose! MARRIAGE!

Here at f.lori.sh we pray for each one of you to have a marriage that stands the tests of life. We pray for healthy communication and so many laughs! We pray each one of these marriages is protected and unbreakable! We know life is never easy! We know you will face trials of all kinds, but we pray for two people to love each other and serve each other and the Lord always!

Take a moment and just soak it in! After the wedding comes the marriage, protect it and cherish it! It is a one of a kind relationship, a partnership! Two people choosing each other each and every day! Pretty crazy stuff! Don’t be so consumed by the wedding day details that you forget how beautiful this covenant is!

This months word for .lori.sh is JOY! Really focusing on finding joy in all the stress and chaos that comes with weddings + life! It’s easy to get caught up in the little things and the daily negatives when things don’t go as planned, but through it all, count it all as joy my friends!

No matter where you are in this season of life whether it be working a tough job, finishing school, juggling being a mom, a wife, a fiancé, going through loss or a long waiting period for answers that never seem to come, just know Jesus sees you and loves you so dearly. In it all, good or bad, we are given a set amount of time on this earth and we get to choose what we do with it! Choosing joy despite what’s going on around us is not easy but I will say on the other side it’s REFRESHING!

BRIDES: DON’T PLAN AWAY YOUR DAY AND MISS OUT ON ALL THE BEAUTY AND HARD WORK YOU PUT IN! It all happens so fast and soon it’s a memory…. 🤍 so how do you stop yourself from blinking and realizing it happened to quick?!
(Psssstttt: Hint you don’t have to do it all)

🤍 take the “day of to do list” and pass it off. You should not have to set up a thing! Hire a coordinator! Or if you are a DIY bride, hand it to a trusted friend or family member and let me them oversee it! That way you enjoy all the little sweet moments leading up to the ceremony!
🤍 make a timeline that allows you to enjoy your new husband and your guest! Build in moments of intentional talking!
🤍 take a moment every now and then to look around and soak it all in! Take those mental snapshots and remember the feelings!
🤍 don’t plan too much on traditional things because you feel you have to! First looks are taboo to some but if you’re open to it, you get more time with your person and more time with your people together later! You’d be shocked how much calmer you feel actually seeing, touching, and talking with your soon to be husband!

I started f.lori.sh in college when trying to figure out what the Lord was calling me to do and well …this is the vision he gave me! We got married in 2020 and grew this business into a full time position for me! We love new adventures, big risks, our puppies and Hibachi food! We serve in the youth at our church and they keep us young and hip! We are truly the opposite in almost everything but it works so well like a well oiled machine!

Matthew loves disc golf, building things, anything outdoors, his florish truck, me (duh), music, and spending time with his friends! Matthew has always been supportive since day 1, doing everything to help me succeed and is type 9 on the enneagram in case you were wondering. This isn’t his only job, he’s actually an a full time engineer at Lockheed Martin… so pretty wow.

Lori doesn’t do as much as Matthew but I do enjoy watching funny movies or tv shows, Chick-fil-A and Starbucks, shopping and just being with family and friends! I love Christmas time so much, firm believer it starts November 1 (sorry to those it offends but Christmas needs 2 months to shine) and I’m a type 3 apparently on the enneagram!
