It’s been WAY too long since we have checked in! But if you’re new here: WELCOME TO F.LORI.SH!!!!!!!!🤍
We are a small family owned and operated event and wedding florist here in DFW! It’s just me (Lori), Matthew (my husband), and little Miles (our flower sniffing buddy)!
Some things to get to know me better!
• JESUS ABOVE EVERYTHING! He is the ultimate florist since he made it all but it sure is fun arranging his creation! We don’t hide our faith here, we believe it hold the whole thing together. You are loved and prayed for every step of the way!
• I am flexible and laid back in most things! Doing this now 7+ years, there’s not much we haven’t walked through! Problem solving is our specialty and even in the midst we believe you can still have fun!
• Puppies are our best friend! While we lost 2 recently, our 4 furry friends are family! If you have a dog, please know I want pictures and hope to see them on wedding day!
• We don’t have a ton of hobbies because Miles keeps us busy but you can find us at church, spending time with family and friends, renovating something in our home, making very impulsive trips, or relaxing on the couch! (We are always looking for new shows send us your recs)
• We started this business together when we were engaged in 2019, and have watched God do incredible things!
• When you’re hanging with us, it should be fun! I have 3 sisters, all who are married now, but hopefully you feel like family by the end of the process!
• Simplicity is key! We try to keep things easy to navigate and not over complicate this aspect of your day! Let me handle the flower stress and you just have fun looking at pretty things!
• You’ll probably catch me working in my PJs! Pink always! Shopping is the most fun! I’m the most extroverted introvert! I want to start a garden, and embroider thing, but who’s go the time!
• Matthew is the handiest of all men! He’s fast, efficient, and helps with the logistics of all things! He’s a full time electrical engineer! He loves disc golf, sports, music, food, projects, and really everything. Definitely giving golden retriever energy!

The joy of marrying the person God has for you is an everyday ordinary miracle that we lose site of so easily! To find someone to walk through the highs and lows all while seeking Jesus is such a gift!

The planning may be stressful, things may not exactly as planned but the joy of Lord cannot be stopped!

Here’s to celebrating love and not taking it for granted🤍

True love is worth the wait! Finding the person that fills all the missing pieces, makes you a better person and smile more than you thought possible is worth it! To walk down the aisle in confidence knowing there is no one you’d rather do life with is so special!

I actually love telling people I’m like a mortician for flowers - just trying to make them look their best as they slowly decompose! Cute right?! 🤍 this is usually in response to people assuming I’m good at gardening but if it’s not thriving on its own without intervention, I sadly can’t keep a darn thing alive!

Also this is my older sister and I think she’s absolutely stunning and had some of the funnest colors to work with! Love you KK - you make a great model and bride!

Been a little quiet over here because ever since I got a new phone all 30+ of my drafts of reels and post got deleted and I have yet to recover from this loss lol. No better way to heal the heart than reminiscing on this day🤍

Just a peak into our youngest employees day! Not captured was trying to eat the flowers, all the snacks, chick-fil-a stop and more because we were chasing him around lol! He used to just sit and be along for the ride, now we are lucky to keep up with him! He loves pointing out flowers, eating them, pushing carts around, playing in the buckets of water, screaming on phone calls, car rides to and from venues and wholesaler, and so much more!! He’s the heart and life behind .lori.sh!!! If you see him in the wild, I’m sorry he’s stand off ish at first but give him 10 minutes and he will be full force! So thankful for him every day, even if he is chaos, we will take it on any day! Truly God’s sweetest gift!

GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS IN ALL MOMENTS! Thankful for his grace, forgiveness, and love because without it I would be lost! These are SUCH HUGE things to a successful marriage modeled by our creator! Grace + Forgiveness + Love! Feelings mislead, life becomes crazy, the honeymoon ends - but the LOVE our fathers gives us never does and so we reflect this in marriage!

I don’t know about y’all but growing up I constantly watched say yes to the dress and even still to this day I LOVE seeing what brides pick out! So basically I get to constantly see what dress my brides pick which is even sweeter than TV! No big deal, just living my dream of being surrounded by wedding dresses!

Thankful God made everything unique and on purpose! His creation is incredible! So much details in little flowers! So many variations and colors, all beautiful in their own way! But how incredible is it that God looked at the world and knew it needed YOU! You were created on purpose for a purpose! You are known and loved!

Can’t believe it’s been a year since these two got married! Fun fact- I have T H R E E sisters! And somehow 2 got married last year and one gets married this March! It’s been a busy year and exciting adding some new faces to our family! Thankful for my sisters! 🫶🏼

Prayer is powerful, so surround yourself with people who will pray over you not just wedding day but when life starts to kick in… AND be a faithful prayer warrior for others! Thoughts and prayers has become so embedded in cultural lingo that it’s lost meaning for many! Be the friend who follows through with prayer. Be the Husband/Wife who prays daily for your person, for your family! Prayer can move mountains!
