Obviously the best feeling is marrying your person, but having your vision finally come together is pretty high on the list! It’s really one of my favorite things about flowers. &All the pretty little things coming together to make something magical! | Makes me think how proud + excited + joy-filled God must be when we follow his plan for our life’s and things start working together for our good.. it’s all the little things that add up to make this life beautiful🤍
God is here. Even in the midst of chaos and destruction this broken world brings - He is here and He is good. | A big question believers are faced with is “how can you believe in a God that allows bad things to happen?” But I ask how can you not? Consider the flowers and how beautifully and delicately crafted each unique stem is. Look into someone you love eyes. Look at even a snowflake with how much detail it brings. You and I are not a mistake, we are beautifully and wonderfully made in Gods image. Despite the enemies( not God) best efforts to keep us away from the joy, peace, and freedom God’s love brings … God shows up in the small and quiet moments for us. | Do bad things happen? YES! Is life unfair and full of challenges? YES! Sin is what separates us. It’s what has made the earth what it is - a mess!! God still chooses us despite how much people deny him, how many times we take his name in vain, or how far we run from His grace. | It’s never too late to see God in the little moments🤍

SO MANY OPINIONS AND OPTIONS!!! What is the “right way”?! Here’s the secret… THERE IS NO RIGHT WAY! ••A wedding should be personal. It should embody you and your future husband. It should express your love. It should feel like a glimpse into your lives. It should be comfortable and dreamy!!!!••A wedding shouldn’t be a cookie cutter, one size fits all event! So what if you look back 20 years from now and think “that’s so 2020’s” THATS THE POINT! A frozen in time moment that captures who you guys are! So don’t be afraid to go out of the box! Or don’t be afraid to have an all white wedding even tho your friend did it! As long as YOU BOTH love it you can’t go wrong! ••🤍Prioritize what’s important (timeless, fun, personality, colors, etc…)🤍 Build off the moments and do things intentionally not out of obligation 🤍 HAVE FUNNNNNN THIS IS A WEDDING AFTER ALL!!!
“It’s just a floral business”… WRONG! Here we believe this is a way to love and serve people where ever they are at like Jesus would! The world can be full of so much darkness it feels overwhelming! So if you’re feeling overwhelmed by our world or wedding planning or the holidays are just getting to you here are some reminders:🤍 JOY can only come from the Lord; knowing him means knowing yourself. So if you’re wanting some ultimate self care for yourself during this season, we suggest spending some time in the Word daily. You’ll hear some truth about yourself and what God made you to do!!🤍 You were never meant to handle the weight of the world on your shoulders! By holding them tight, you’re going to exhaust yourself instead of resting! It’s okay to not be okay but don’t sit in it and let it overtake you! Feel and submit it to God! (1 Peter 5:6-11 is great encouragement) 🤍 God gave us community, family, and friends! Lean on your support systems. Seek open communication and honesty where you are! The enemy thrives when we feel isolated! You weren’t meant to do it all alone; we were created to be in constant relationship with God and people!🤍 Know that this is the season we remember Jesus came as a baby, innocent and blameless, to take on what we couldn’t do that we could have a relationship with our Creator! His life and death meant that the light has and will continue to over power the darkness! Jesus loves you friend, and we do too! Where ever you are this holiday season we pray for peace, joy, healing, comfort, community, and for you to know you are loved by the one who created you! You were made on purpose, for a purpose! ••. This day was a DREAM! The perfect embodiment of God’s love and provision! I can’t wait to get more of these photos because every detail was so thoughtful and intention!!! ••Hard to believe time has gone by so quickly and 2023 is almost over!!! Jesus is more than enough. He meets our needs in every way. It’s such an honor to be a part of so many marriages and celebrations of how He brings two people together to navigate all the challenges life brings! ••Marriage is a gift! It should be celebrated! In the times to come it where things in the world try to separate and destroy you guys, remember the love you shared on your wedding day! Remember that iron sharpens iron, to use conflict to bring about change in good ways! To listen and be patient with one another. Extend grace and forgiveness; because you’ll need it soon! No marriage is 100% perfect all the time, but communicate often, pray together, and find a community of people who will uplift you guys in the hard time! ••We love y’all and pray for each of your marriages to be filled with love, joy, adventures, and abundant blessings wherever you end up. It’s not a hobby. It’s a lifestyle. Flowers are hard work! Lots of water, dirt, tears, blood, thorns and itchy greens! But I do it because I love it and I love seeing all the little things come together to transform a space into something so personal for YOU! I think it’s easy to look at my life from an outsiders perspective and think “how fun” or “must be nice” but a job is a job is a job! I tell people all the time while flowers are fun, most nights I can’t bend over from my back hurting, my hands are cut up, I never can be dry, on top of hours of behind the scenes desk work I never seem to catch up on! If you look at any job you can find the negatives! You can dwell on the things that go wrong! The stress can keep you up at night wondering if you did everything or if it’s going to be what they want! But you’re right! It is FUN and I love what I do!!! But why? Because I choose to do something that doesn’t conflict with the gifts God has given me and I do it in hopes to be a light to people! Jesus calls us all wherever we are to follow him daily. To be a light in a dark world. To serve and love others with everything we got in hopes of one day sharing the joy of Jesus with someone. I have my bad days. I have hard days where I cry and feel like everything is RUINED! If you lean on things like money, job title, social status, or hobbies as your identity - you will never be satisfied and never feel content! You’ll find yourself searching for the next BIGGER AND BETTER thing that will make you happy but eventually this too will fail and you’ll do the same cycle chasing trends and emotional wants. I’m not perfect and will never claim to be, but I do claim the name of Jesus over this business and my life. And that in all I do, I will do it with all my heart and energy as if it’s for the Lord himself! That sort of joy is something that fuels me every single wedding the best day ever! I get asked all the time “what if my vision changes or we need more tables?!” Here with @f.lori.sh you are always welcomed to change your mind! As a fellow indecisive (former) bride, I get it! We just try to nail it all down about 1 month out to get the new vision brought to life! (Realistic expectations and transparency - sometimes the costs change, we pivot on a type of flower here and there and we need time to make sure we can get the new order into the wholesaler) While the simplicity of not allowing changes is appealing and encouraged by a lot of people in the industry, your day and the vision you have is more important to me than my personal comfort! So bring on a little chaos! I’ll do my best to keep up🤍

The more colors mean the more variety which can cause cost to increase! You can factor in so much with color in so many details! I love color, so if this is a non negotiable for you like it was for me, always ask for ways we can help get you to a place you feel comfortable!🤍 Mix high value pieces with lower costing centerpieces! I always make suggestions on how to make the biggest visual impact while saving a little when need! All you have to do is ask! 🤍 BOOK QUICKLY! Prices are ever changing in the world of flowers as crops come and go! So lock in your prices as soon as you can! The details coming together never get old! I know it can be nerve wracking waiting on all the pieces to fall in place, but I’m telling you they always do! So here’s how you help me help YOU! •PICTURES LOTS OF PICTURES! It helps me find the common vibe you’re going for! If you’re unsure or stuck between styles, the pictures won’t lead us astray! • DO NOT MICROMANAGE YOUR FLORIST! I’m pretty sure every wedding where the bride is WOWED have been the brides who have fully let me take what they’ve given me, and trusted the process! The times that I’ve been given lists of exactly what or lots of editing last minute, those are the ones brides are uneasy about because it was too much worrying and not enough partying!• COLORS! Aside from all white, we need a range instead of specific shades here! Nature is amazing! But also she can promise on color and give us another! Be open and trust the process! • TRUST! Have I not said this enough yet lol?! Find a florist (really ANY vendor) that fits you vibes! If you like the majority of what you see, you can rest easy knowing they got you! If you don’t like what you see, it’s okay to not use them!! It should be fun and exciting, not like you’re going to the dentist to pull teeth! If you love your vendors, you’ll trust them, and they will deliver the best knowing the bride trust them completely!!! Ps: @hannahwayphoto kills every single time!
