Nine days later… WE HAVE POWER!

As some of you know, I recently relocated to Cape Coral in July. We were in the direct eye of the storm of Hurricane Ian. My family and I were very lucky, SWFL as a whole was not. There are still areas without power, there are still areas without access by road, there are still areas with mass devastation.… Hurricane Ian was beyond what they show on the news, seeing the destruction with my own eyes was equally humbling and heart wrenching. We have become a society that is so focused on technology, luxury, having everything accessible at our fingertips… And so many in this area are left without any of that still and unknown on its return. So, take a moment to really think about the things that mean most to you, the people that mean most to you, the luxuries that you really need… Please continue to pray for SWFL, especially the Cape Coral, Sanibel, Captiva, Matlacha, and Pine Island areas that were impacted the hardest by the eye of the storm.

The Gulf Coast will rebuild - please continue to support relief efforts as you can, and donate to the ones that you know will come direct to those in need. With all that being said, I am grateful my family and friends are safe, I am grateful to have an amazing company I now work for that cared for us so much during this time, and I am proud to call this place my home. 🤍

I promise I haven't disappeared! For those of you who don't know, I accepted a new job earlier this month and just moved back to Florida 10 days ago! I am taking the next month to look for a place and when I get all settled and moved in, I WILL BE BACK - just from a new living room!
