Was honoured to be asked by my friend and Revolver legend T-Rek to get on a track with him for Freakshow Disco Productions.
Out of all my time making music, I have never really been given much opportunity by anyone in the Melbourne dance music scene, for whatever reason. I met Tarek through a mate KB at his studio, and ever since then T has been a huge supporter of my music and obviously trusted me enough with a track of his own.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter who likes your music or supports it, as long as you enjoy the process and you're doing it for the right reasons. Having said that, if you're going to release your first remix, it might as well be with the best there is.
Being on a release with none other than Spacey Space also doesn't feel real. I basically went to every Sneak - Fake T**s Friday night 'Spacey Sesh' (as the boys used to call it) at Tramp Bar for a few years when I was around 18-20yo. And about 10 years later I'm dropping a release with him... wtf.
