Fronted by long time listener, first time caller Sam Van Munnen () .band touts a line up of seasoned players.

Including members of the , , and !!

They will bumble their way into your heart with sheer force of sincerity. With a rollicking, rattling folk pop performance, Overthinker’s songs are wordy and winding snapshots of friendship, sociological frustration and the fight to stay kind in an unkind world.

Here’s a few words they have about :

‘We’re really proud to be a part of this gig and to raising money and awareness for an organisation which does such sadly vital work.

If you didn’t know Safe Steps is an organisation who provide both immediate and ongoing support for victims of Family Domestic Violence.

These include (but are not limited to) a 24/7 Crisis Support Line (1800 015 188) as well as access to crisis accomodation, a lawyer, nurse and Centerlink officer.

Thanks to Much Love for teeing this up, it’s a really great example of how we can use our hobbies, art and community to support things that do good in the world.’

.harlon.and.the.dead.crows , an Australian rock group from Melbourne, have carved out a distinct place for themselves in the music scene.

They take their cues from bands like Black Sabbath and Smashing Pumpkins, mix their music with powerful, distorted guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and distorted vocals. Their music transports listeners on an excursion through the depths of their emotions and evokes feelings of unrepentant sincerity and roughness.

Making that first call is always the hardest. It immediately changes the reality that you’ve been so used to for so long. We wrote a song called ‘Absolved’ about this exact type of situation.

When the time comes, it’s absolutely key to have confidentiality and an instant safety net like safe steps provide.”

Much Love is back with a huge lineup to raise money for Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre.

Safe Steps is a family and domestic violence crisis support centre that is available 24/7 and statewide.

They do great work and we are so happy to raise some money for them while having a bloody great time on Friday May 2nd at the Bergy Bandroom.

Much Love started out doing some epic house parties at a share house in Kensington. So, we thought it was best to get some of our favourites from those days back together.
